Let me guess......you're one of those people who think you only need to shoot at someone aiming a gun at you ONCE to kill them. Because everyone knows how to take a single perfect, instant-fatal shot in a high-stress situation involving a hostage, where your own life is immediately put in direct danger.

Some of y'all watch too many movies. Dudes can get hit three or four times (maybe more) and STILL be able to shoot somebody afterwards. Y'all never heard of "dead man's ten"?

What really happened is the criminal pointed the gun at him and the coward ass cop got scared and said fukk it and just started shooting. fukk the hostage, I gotta save my own ass. Pathetic p*ssy. Hell, I'm surprised they even admitted the cop was the one that shot the girl and didnt just pin it on the criminal.

What the hell did you expect him to do once his own life was threatened? Just stand there and get killed?
