All in all, yes a great win, he was unnecessarily dirty though vs a blown up lww, maybe I feel a type of way cause I respect Paulie in spite of his power deficiencies, and considering Porter bumrushed a little guy who couldn't return the fire power back, when he was once near SMW................Guerrero is a true measuring stick match and a fighter his size, with equal if not more dirtness
I give Porter props for handling a Paulie like you are supposed to handle him unlike a Broner.....That shows ther is levels to this shyt, and Broner is simply a low level fighter
So, a SMW in your eyes (168 fighter) moved down to 147 to maul a "blown up lightweight" like Broner shoulda done, but Broner was a blown up lightweight FORREAL in his fight with Paulie. Let's not forget, Broner was the one who moved UP 2 divisions to fight Paulie in his 1st fight at 147.
Paulie aint fought under the 147 limit in 4 years

Antonio DeMarco was the #1 RING 135lber in the world and had only been KO'd by the great Edwin Valero (rip) previously. AB was the only other person to ever KO him.
Rees was the #6 RING 135lber in the world and was also a former 140 Champion.
No, they werent "elite" opponents, but they werent bums like yall like to portray them being....especially with them both being Champions (current/former).
I think the saddest thing about all this regarding Paulie is its clear how he validates himself as a fighter overall. Paulie's best victories don't have the status as the people he lost too. Losing badly to prime Cotto, serviceable Hatton, and prime Khan is one thing. Then you have the robbery loss vs Diaz and the close but clear loss to Broner. Those losses at least he can argue to drum support for his next fights. Then you have Shawn Porter, who does not have the status currently of any of those guys at the time of those fights or seen as a top guy in his division or overall, completely wipe him out. Paulie thinks of himself as a HOF guy..saying he can beat Pac and all that nonsense but who's going to cosign him after that.

You should never talk down on the guy who BEAT you after the fight. It makes you seem like less of a fighter if you then lost to that "bum"
