Call me weird and old-fashioned, but is it really that hard to acknowledge that Black people aren't a monolith and we exhibit a variety of cultures and ethnic groups? And that groups of people form their own ethnic groups over time depending on the time period (historical and political circumstances, etc) and geography (terrain, weather, climate, etc) such as Afro slave descendants of the Americas (Afram/ADOS, Haitians, Jamaicans, Afro Brazilians, Bajans, Afro Guyanese, etc)?
Yet we can still get along and find common humanity among us (outside of skin colour, hair texture).
