i never seen paul blart but from the looks of it, if i were a young kid i probly woulda got a kick out of it. in fact if i had kids of my own it's probly something i would go take them to see myself. :manny:

plus it looks like the movie has a good message. here's a guy that has the most unimportant job in the world and yet no matter what he still shows up everyday and takes pride in his work. :obama:

:ufdup:and some of y'all trippin.... like the dumb comedies we liked as youngn's were all top notch. find me a breh that likes dumb and dumber who was a fully functioning adult at the time it was released.

I can watch street fighter purely as a comedy now and it works. If you're taking it seriously (clearly they weren't) then its awful. Space Jam...yeah again, I love the black 11s that came from it and that soundtrack is :wow: barely works as a basketball movie and doesn't work at all as a looney tunes movie
spacejam is worth it for that intro alone

welcome to the space jam! alright alright!

i used to always clown on the movie even as a kid though.

"getting pretty good son! go head, shoot until you miss!" ..me and my dad always said that shyt for years after.. "gettin pretty good son!"

haven't seen it as an adult but i remember it being the quickest viewing of all-time .

ebert gave it 3.5/4 :umad:

Ebert also didn't like Halloween or Nightmare on Elm street so :whoknows:

I try to put people on to Ace Ventura, people who've never seen it, and they say it's dumb as hell.

i tend to leave most things from childhood there.

only exceptions are the x-men movies, hook, and sandlot.

i haven't revisited ninja turtles yet.

I tend to also but there have been times when I've caught things just on some random shyt and immediately it goes from :gladbron: to :beli:..space jam was one of those things

To me, you can sit through the first turtles flick as an adult and get something out of it. The 2nd might be tougher and I didn't like the third as a kid so there's nothing I can get from that now at all.

of course they do.

they aren't 9.

:ld: you might be right. It's one of those things that if you didn't think it was funny then, you won't think its funny now and it's definitely not a movie to show to a grown ass adult and tell them its funny. the jokes that were funny to me at 8 are still funny to me now

Nah it's proof that there's another America we don't know about brehs. Same people who go see this movie are the people that make CBS the #1 channel on television. I've never met a human who watches NCIS, Scorpion, etc. Every football season I learn about some new CBS show I never heard of that's #1 now.
