I don't know where you get the idea he was a roadman - after he quit the diving team, he was modelling for French Connection until Guy Richie cast him for the first time, because he had experience selling fake jewellery.

You're entitled to your opinions re: his acting - but to me he never showed a modicum of the range or talent guys from back home like Idris and Tom Hardy had when they made it in the States. He's basically a stuntman with lines.

He doesnt need range, hes an action movie star. You're trying to hard to force high standard examples of acting on someone who does action films. What he does not do, is deliver his lines in a way that makes you cringe. He does what he does well.

Vision was hot trash as a character, as a costume and his fighting choreography was hot Garbage.

Statham makes fukkin great action movies, is great in comedies and is a high quality good/villian...

Btw how powerful is Vision, the way he shytted on Ultron they made him seem way more powerful then the rest of the avengers? I never read the comics but shyt is interesting to me
