marvel aint no wizard of oz. These are summer popcorn flicks sold off the action spectacle. These are on par with the transformers films. Once that spectacle looks what are you left with? There is no memorable story,no memorable scenes. Even their most "iconic" scene the spin around shot in avengers was just a generic michael bay rip off. Theres nothing interesting happening in these films beyond the action spectacle and the connected universe gimmick. The actual film making is basura. Nothing memorable about it.

Stathams acting is fine for what he does. I never seen Statham in one scene that was corny.

I don't know where you get the idea he was a roadman - after he quit the diving team, he was modelling for French Connection until Guy Richie cast him for the first time, because he had experience selling fake jewellery.

You're entitled to your opinions re: his acting - but to me he never showed a modicum of the range or talent guys from back home like Idris and Tom Hardy had when they made it in the States. He's basically a stuntman with lines.

When your films are heavily cgi made,it dates the film very quickly. In 10 years a lot of the cgi in marvel films is gonna look


Thats why say nolans batman films will age like fine wine,lack of cgi.

And especially when your films lack any depth to them and their just fluff and filler. Nobody gonna be looking back fondly on the thor films.

Them "Furious" movies are cool but Statham is making it seem like they're doing "The Raid" movies or something. shyt ain't that dope.
