A few years ago, jared dudley said bron wasn't the toughest to guard because he gets his points in transition, from the line and you'll let him take five 3's a game, so you don't really notice his points because you're not really guarding him. Said kobe and Durant were the toughest to guard.

Also Bron calls for a pick almost every play. Anyone who played ball knows that when someone is calling for a switch its cause they can't get by you one on one so you automatically got less respect for them than someone who is busting your ass man to man.

LeBron's style of play is why his peers don't revere him like they do Jordan and Kobe. Its cause what LeBron does is not mano y mano. He's instead just exploiting weaknesses in your team defense. Jordan and Kobe were going straight at your defense's strengths and saying you still can't stop me.

What Dudley is saying is that between the fast break points, free throws, and pick n rolls, LeBron can score 30 in a game and as his primary defender you'll feel good cause he might have only score 5 points on you physically.

Compare that to Kobe and KD who are primarily isolation scorers who rarely call for picks, when they score 30, a good 20 of those will come right in your face with them knocking down jumpers.

This is why LeBron can score all those points but none of his NBA peers ever put him in the best scorer discussion. Bron scores through smoke and mirrors compared to guys like Kobe and KD.
