The thing about Patrice that was so amazing is that, in any setting, with anybody, he was the funniest person in the room and EVERYONE knew it. I was Listening to a bunch of clips of him on O&A and no matter who the guest was, they all took a backseat to him. I listened to ones with Louis CK or Kevin Hart, who are 2 of the biggest comics right now, and you could just sense them playing second fiddle. Dude would just body the whole room with hilarious jokes on whatever the subject was. fukk I'm gonna miss this dude.

Jim norton said many times Patrice never had the best stand up ever, but I'd he sat on a room with rock, Pryor, murphy, carlin, whoever, he would still be the funniest person in the room.

His laziness stumped his stand up, he said that on jay mohrs podcast, he rarely wrote material down and just riffed it on stage, which is amazing really.,
