Yes,OP,you're right. Ancient Africa was largely matriarchical. So are their descendants all over the S Pacific. Early Afro Indians were a matriarchy til the patriarchical migrants slowly overwhelmed their peaceful constant consensus seeking society-it wasn't a large invasion as many say.

We just had 44 men as president in a row. Thousands of Senators, Governors, Congressmen, Mayors, Police. How much more of a patriarch do you want, you crazy sexist pigs.

You live in a Patriarchal society, how's that working out for you?

If you want it even more, go live in Saudi Arabia or Turkey. You ignorant morons. Considering the more equal a country is, the better off that society has been, historically - you have no legs to stand on.

Get this garbage out of here

:dahell: all histories greatest empires were built on the oppression of other groups :heh:

From the USA, to Great Britiain, to the Romans, Greeks, Ottomans/Byzantine, Mongols.

The so-called black man is not being brought up in patriarchal society. The East Indian, Chinese, Arabs and Edomites in Babylon are almost exclusively patriarchal. The Babylonian negro is being brought in an alternative society that is largely matriarchal...please explain how matriarchy is helping nikkas.
And people wonder why African immigrant families perform so well in comparison to African-Americans.
It's a product of the cultures, cultures that were built on the core tenet of patriarchy.

Even within African communities the worst kids, that get into the most trouble, are usually without fathers. Real observation that most Africans notice.

Not from wiki or confused Cac women wandering around Africa 'proving' their 3rd world gender theories, son! I'm a 40 smth year old US born Kenyan man. Eg, we Kikuyus were once largely matriarchal maybe a millennia ago. An immigration from Axum brought Semitic culture including dietary laws around 1200 which turned us patriarchal.
African matriarchies weren't the Amerikwan version where hormonal shedemons controled the sociolegal sphere-no,they were much more representative and egalitarian. Everyone had their role.

good thread, OP. i'm tired of drilling in the importance of a strong patriarchal structure in the black community.

Okay, but your people aren't the only people in Africa. Out of the big three in Nigeria, none of them are matriarchal. Igbos (my people) are super patriarchal as far family structure and leadership. Yoruba are a little more egalitarian but still overall patriarchal, especially within their Muslim population, and the Hausa are probably the most patriarchal with an Islamic view on the role of women.

OP is 100% correct.

Too bad these fools can't see the forest for the trees.
