how they even know WHAT train he was on. they know he took the 1,a, and L but not what train and what care he was on

They could pretty have a certain time frame. For example, if he got on the train, let's say at 5:30pm heading downtown, the MTA could go back & find the interval that the train made out of the terminal & put that train consist in the yard to be cleaned. The train itself necessarily wouldn't be the problem, but the passengers who were on said train, it would near impossible to find everyone that was in that train car with the doctor.

And Ebola news aside, I wouldn't sit on those benches in the train stations either, just a heads up.

I road my bike to work today :mjpls:

Ironically I passed right in front of Bellevue hospital :beli:.

But yea they shouldve BEEN quarantining those workers. Was just talking to my coworker about that this morning

Who's going to tell the rich -- and this doctor came from money, an affluent family -- what they can or cannot do?

The doctor is a dumbass the first thing he should have done was quarrentined himself after making sure he was not a carrier of the fukking virus...... :mjlol: I swear these cops and doctors should be the first ones taught this shyt.

Look at these dumbass cops Y'all!!!! NYPD y'all.....

Just like a doctor in the doctor's office, your supposed to throw away hazardous materials in a hazmat box to be properly destroyed!!!! not in the garbage where rats and people potentially eat from. You could potentially spread the virus you a$$holes!!!! Even I know that shyt and i dont work for the CDC!!!
:wtf::damn:

In their defense, maybe the city cheaped out and didn't provide those hazmat boxes for them to put the gear in, in the first place. A lot of government shyt is just for show by the higher ups, and the peons are supposed to play along with little real guidance.

So this is one of the few times that I'm not going to down beat cops, without further information. You are absolutely right about how that shyt should be disposed of. But hit the top of the pyramid, not the bottom.

Going to West Africa to directly help patients suffering from Ebola and then returning to the US exposing yourself to hundreds of people is counterproductive...you're potentially getting others sick and continuing the cycle of spreading the virus. If flights aren't prohibited, then anyone flying back from those countries affected needs to be quarantined for the appropriate time...and if not, they should face criminal charges.

I agree, that's why that Doctor has to take some responsibility. He should of been quarantine IN AFRICA before he came to the US. This fool comes STRAIGHT back to New York. Are you kidding? Then the CDC lets him go and he runs free for a whole week. Why do you think conspiracy theories are going crazy saying "Look how they are letting it spread". And you know what I can't blame them for that theory. I can't believe this guy was all over Manhattan and Brooklyn and riding multiple trains for a week and had Ebola, that's just crazy.

This is why I rarely touch the poles, and even if I do I use hand sanitizer as soon as I get off the train, and this is before the Ebola scare. Like you said, the trains, can be a real issue. Majority of the time, when the trains, reach the terminals, they go right back out (especially on the 1 line), which doesn't give the cleaners enought time to clean the cars. And when they do clean the cars, they don't wipe down the poles. They sweep & might mop the floor of the cars and that's it.

Exactly. Those poles are always cold and I feel they are the perfect host for disease. You have MILLIONS of people touching those poles. You do not know where people's hands have been. Someone could sneeze and cough in their hands and touch that pole. My pole days are done, I will just do that "Two-point" stance when the train stops. I just don't like how all these reports are so quick to come out "The subway are safe, don't worry, everything is OK". I know they don't want to cause panic but people have always been concerning about sanitation on the subways. Also there are a lot of homeless on those trains that are dirty that just ride the trains all damn day.

you should never touch those :scust:

:rudy:yall them bougie ass passengers.

Everybody chillin on the train and you putting a napkin on the pole before you touch it:laugh:

I mean I understand not touching it if you bout to eat or something. But if I'm on a commute, other than this ebola thing, I hold the pole, it ain't that serious. What do yall sanitize the touchscreen before you buy a new metro card too? :mjlol:

What are yall from Jersey or something?

I mean I refuse to believe a federal government organization is that stupid. And i don't want to hear that freedom shyt, they freely dig through all my personal shyt in the name of the patriot act to 'protect the nation' but they don't want to quarantine ppl to prevent a biological threat in the most densely populated city in the nation?

Bullshyt.

The CDC and the federal government is not this p*ssy and definitely not this stupid.

:snoop: Born in Kings County hospital but raised in Washington houses from 85 to 04.
And I don't claim "Harlem". And them nikkas up in 145th don't consider 104th and 3rd "Harlem" either.
