:mjlol: Riles ever the politician, a lot of doublespeak here...say Lebron never misled you, while explicitly running down the ways he misled you...form a superteam, have it take the biggest asswhooping in NBA Finals history...call a press conference to appeal to the sense of pride, resilience and loyalty of a player you acquired after he quit on his previous (60plus win, odds on title favorite) team and ripped their hearts out on a prime time TV special to announce he was throwing them in the bushes to create an insta-Dynasty...have him promise to bring your franchise 6 or 7 championships, stop taking your phone calls or responding to your texts while you make draft picks and sign free agents with the assumption he's returning...all for him to quit your team without any heads up and leave literally the FIRST opportunity he had after it became apparent he wasn't gonna just cakewalk his way to 6plus rings like he thought, brehs

You're really going to sit up here, as a Heat fan nonetheless, and attempt to make the parallel of someone who came to Wade County to ride coattails, literally cramped up when shyt got too hot in a pivotal game, to someone like ZO who left it all out there for your team :smh:?

AGAIN, just like with the decision, people don't have a problem that he exercise his right to leave as a free agent, but it's the manner in which he left. Not returning calls, texts, and emails, and secretly telling another team to clear the necessary cap space for you. All he had to do is tell the Heat brass that he was leaving and they wouldn't have been left scrambling and fighting for leftovers in the free agent market. It's always some colluding & shady bullshyt going on with him, and it's no surprise that the bytchassness rears its ugly head often when the lights are the brightest.

But again, Riley knew what he was dealing with in the first place hence why he was in MIA in the first place, so he got what he had coming to him..
You're reading way too much into this. Even if he did re-sign with the Heat those were the type of players they could sign anyway. Why? Cause hew as getting max anyway. It's not like they were all taking ''paycuts''.

If you look at the free agent market you would see that a lot of cats were getting paid some ''overpaid'', so why do you think players would take a paycut to go to the Heat when it was 100% sure he was coming back and when they could get paid elsewhere?

They didn't win 4. You telling me if they went to the finals 4 times (which they indeed did) but lost all four times, would you still be proud of that ?
It would be more of an accomplishment if they played in the west.

Not to mention you have the best player in basketball in his prime, shyt wasn't that difficult.

But dude what if he didnt know what he wanted to do yet and wanted to clear his mind without getting influenced by others?

If he didn't know he was leaving he wouldn't have met with the Cavs in secrecy and gave them a blueprint of what he was looking for - both contractually and team construction wise, and he wouldn't have met with one of his biggest sponsors (Nike) in Vegas, so they could make finalize preparations on a "Return" shoe. You are exactly the type of nikka I described in my first post. fukking really :aicmon:?

Do teams tell players when they are shopping them or about to cut them? Dont get me wrong I'm mad he left but i understand that the man dont owe me sh!t.

Stop playing stupid. There's obviously a pecking order when it comes to sports. LeBron isn't just some player, which is exactly why the entire league was stagnant until he finished doing what he did. Hypothetically speaking, if a team was in fact shopping a player of LeBron's caliber, I'd venture to guess that said player will know about it. I didn't say he owed you a damn thing, but just because he doesn't does not absolve him from the way he handled this. LOL @ you supposedly being mad, but excusing a player who dumps your ass for the new hotness/talent because he thought the jig was up in Miami after 4 straight finals appearances. BTW, I always found it funny how people talked about LeBron being surrounded by lesser talent during his first stint in Cleveland not realizing he was telling the Front office to get certain players. He wanted Mo Williams, he wanted Shaq, he wanted Jamison, and he's pulling the strings there already. So I don't want people of your 'elk' to start making excuses for his lack help when the Cavs get gutted when they acquire Love - it already started with them trading away picks to get rid of Jarrett Jack's contract to acquire him.

Zo is one of my favorite players of all time. You all in here laugh when i say this but i'll take Zo in his prime over Shaq in his prime all day but thats another discussion so we wont waste time on it. But say what you want about ZO but when it was time to do what is best for him or the franchise that took care of him, ZO decided to take the money and go to New Jersey and try to catch a championship with Jason Kidd and the Nets. We dont know if Zo would have came back had we not gotten Shaq and Wade. YOU cant deny this. I love Zo for all his done for the franchise, for the community in south Florida and even things he done for my home country (Haiti) but i'm not blind nor stupid, doggy.

Thanks for proving my point as to why your comparison between LeBron and ZO was so asinine from the onset.

This is exactly why I don't engage with talking with Bron stans :snoop:. Luol for one said that he would've taken even less had LeBron stayed on. Not to mention the effect that he has on players i.e. a Ray Allen who wants to be his bottom bytch and go wherever he goes. You nikkas love to act like he was surrounded by complete trash anyway just like y'all did with first stint in Cleveland. I'd love for my breh Rose to play with one other LEGIT allstar the caliber of an STD-Wade, or Bosh Spice much less two, but enough is never enough when it comes to you Bron stans.

Again you dont have the exact timelines of when things were decided and so on. I hear you on not letting us know sooner but again he owes us nothing until he is fully ready to address the issue.
Ive followed The Dolphins and the Heat as long as i can remember.

Sure the rules that apply to Michael Irving and Troy Aikman dont apply to the 4th string QB but arent we all striving for equality? Hell MO freakin Williams did the same thing to Riley in '08when we tried to get him to come play with Wade and Shaq. Not answering texts and phone calls. Im sure Riley learned from that experience and was prepared.

Thanks for proving my point as to why your comparison between LeBron and ZO was so asinine from the onset.
How about you EXPLAIN. My point to you was when it came time to put franchise first or himself first he chose himself. I was mad at dude for leaving us just as im mad Lebron left but i understand it. To me they both left.. same sh!t to me.

  • Zo left us to chase rings with the Nets and get his money
  • Just as Lebron left Cleveland and us to chase rings and get his money and be at home
  • Just as Saban left my Dolphins to go back to college and be a god on campuses and get his money and rings.
Call me naive or delusional but SAME-SHI!T-TO-ME. And what do i do in these situations? I-MOVE-ON

What you crying about? you act like him leaving was a 100% basketball move when it clearly wasn't.

What does this have to do with his first tenure in Cleveland? :dead: All i'm saying is the market this year wasn't in miami's favor regardless of whether he came back or not. You act as if Melo Gortat and bledsoe would have signed for the vet minimum if Lebron resigned. Everyone was getting PAID.

Noah isn't an all star? Deng wasn't an all-star? :dead: I thought Jimmy butler was supposed to blossum into a star?

''Enough is enough'' are you dissapointed in the bulls front office or something? Aren't they notorious for being cheap? Looks like you're hating the player instead of the game.
