Oh wow my mom just called while I'm away on a trip to tell me the news. I live in lake Charles and pastor Harris was my cousins' pastor. A lot of the members of the church are stating that pastor Harris has been sleeping around with a lot of women for a long time and the shooter's wife was one of them . As soon as I saw this story on CNN, I was of the same mind-- that this man believed the pastor was sexing his wife. I saw this happen when I was a kid in my town--the biggest black church in town, the most influential pastor. They had to physically restrain the man and call the police and have him taken away. That man was ready to do damage and waited until the pastor was in the pulpit to do it.

Stories from people still attending the church are starting to come out. I can share what I've heard, but I can't confirm if they're true so take from that what you will. Jan is Woodrow Karey's wife. Some members said the affair was consensual and she filed the rape charges only after Woodrow asked about some texts. The whole town now believes she lied and set off the chain of events and they want her to be charged if she did.

The town is laughing at the Pastor's daughter’s interview portraying her daddy as a "saint." Word is she's just like her dad sleeping around town and partying in the clubs all while singing in the choir on Sundays. Most people can't stand her. She may still work at the district attorney's office. If so, going to work has to be embarrassing.

This I can confirm is true...a group of men were gathering at a food place talking about the shooting. Several of the men said they caught the pastor driving by their houses checking out their wives. A man, a member who left the church years ago, said he went home unexpectedly and the caught the pastor at his house. He had gone there to proposition the man's wife.

The pastor also went to the jobs of women pretending to talk about his church, but he would always end up asking the women out. My friend said he went to her job several times before asking her to have dinner with him. Apparently, the guy made his way around the whole town.

Unless Woodrow took in someone, he doesn’t have a daughter. He only has an adopted son. The mom and daughter duo the pastor was sleeping with were members of his church.

The thing every one is discussing is the look of horror on the pastor's face when he saw Woodrow with the shotgun. They say he ran like hell. Woodrow shot him in the a@# and stood over him and shot him in the back.

I'm not surprised Ronald Jr. cussed folk out, to his credit though, he never played church. He mostly sat on the pew if he was there at all.

Here’s a tidbit of tea: Ronald Jr. had three out of wedlock kids with a girl. I can’t remember her name. After the first child was born, the two of them were fighting. Well, friends of the girl jumped Ronald and beat him up. They were teenagers so its typical ghetto teenager behavior (for them).

Pastor Harris got mad and went to the girl's house knowing her mom was out of town. He told the girl, “Yeah, your friends beat my son. Now I’m gonna beat you.” He literally beat the girl up. She couldn’t have been more than seventeen if that. The girl’s mom cried. She couldn’t believe he would go THAT far. She didn’t press charges though. I have no idea why. The members found about that incident five years later when the church split.

I don’t Kimberla Lawson would have thought of that scenario . Lol.
