The pastor wasn't shot in the church. He ran through a side door and was shot outside in a field. The body was left out in the field until 3am. I know both the Pastor and the shooter. The pastor raped the wife of the shooter. This is why it's considered murder in the second degree. The town there is small and you would be hard pressed to find anyone who can say a negative word about the shooter, at least until now. The pastor on the other hand is despised by nearly everyone but his congregation. He's preyed on countless young women in his church. btw. His congregation was originally over two hundred people. The members left after he manipulated a young girl into a sexual relationship. The girl had sought counseling because she had been sexually abused as a child.

He wasn't a man of God. He was not affiliated with any church organization. He was kicked out of the Pentecostal organization after the incident with the girl. He refused to answer to her allegations because she had proof of an affair. There were cards she'd saved from flowers he'd sent and receipts of plane ticket from a trip to Vegas. She described his genital area. Apparently he had scars or a birth mark down there.

My cousin went to this fool's church for ten years until the incident with the girl. She knew the girl wasn't lying. I visited once and could tell he was a joke. He tried to holla once. I'd dyed my hair so I looked different from when he'd meet me. When I told him who I was he started stuttering and walked away real fast.

His wife is a piece of work. If you talk about her kids she's ready to call in the Calvary. But she defended him against the girl who was the same age as their daughter. When the members left the mortgage on the church was in foreclosure. His stupid wife paid the church off with money from a settlement knowing how he was. She’s gotten little sympathy around the town. Everybody there is glad the guy's dead. His wife, who wore her first lady title with such pride, has got to go out and get a job at her age with no work experience and a degree in general studies. Talk about karma. I doubt if there is an insurance policy because he spent money like water. His checks were always bouncing off the walls.
