So if I read this correctly, he didn't refuse to bless the child, he refused to do so publicly, in front of the whole congregation. I see no problem with this. She needs to accept the fact that she sinned and be accountable for that, I can't blame the pastor for not wanting to celebrate this sin in front of his congregation.

Did the father try to bless the child in his church?
Grace says she spoke with a woman who told her Pastor Winans' policy is that he is not to bless children of unwed mothers in front of his congregation.
Looks to me like even if she came in with the father, the pastor wouldn't publicly bless the child. He doesn't want to celebrate having children out of wedlock, so again, I salute him for standing on his values.
