People need to stop treating church like it’s for perfect people. That literally contradicts what church is supposed to be lol. If you’re a perfect Christian you don’t need to be there. Since there’s no perfect Christians, church is here.

The fight for gay marriage dealt specifically with being allowed to get “legally” married aka being able to goto city hall to get “married”. A civil union doesn’t provide the same legal benefits as a marriage so they are in no way equal.
How can you have access to the whole damn internet and still be this uninformed.

So you’re saying the pastors and congregations themselves made the personal decision to support gay marriage. The churches weren’t forced by the government right? So gays fighting for equal rights didn’t force anything on churches. But you”re mad at them for the personal opinions of those in the church….
I know all churches don't have to accept it. It's a bad look on Christians in general from the outside in that Christians are split on this.
They were attacking both fronts at the same time regarding legal marriage, the law and the churches. Toronto was one of the first places in the world to submit to that shyt and a major battle. ground having a gay population back then only second to San Fran. Look back at that time.
A lot of denominations had issues with this. Churches that were stripped of their association because of rogue pastors who went against the actual churches views and officiated gay weddings and others who refused to after their denominations accepted it. You need to chill with the accusations and do some research.
