We're not talking about African spiritual systems though we're talking about Christianity as practiced in America.
And FYI there is no God in the average Christian church. It's why you can go to the poorest, most fukked up communities in America (and even the world to keep it 100) and you'll find a shyt ton of churches essentially doing nothing for the community.
Yeah, but ask those same Africans how they view the followers of God.
Those spirits get them what they want and obtain the results they desire, but those religious folks have a spirituality that can not be denied either.
I'm in Florida, and they have botanical shops (vodu/santeria shops) left and right, and the true practitioners have a very very very intimate view of spirituality and they don't regard God in a trivial way at all.
So its funny that people who practice Black magic have a view of God that is not so dismissive. They believe the God is the one who allows them to interact with their spirits.
Ask any of them how they feel when God "frustrates" their work? True practitioners will be very aware.
