Way before Pactards came into the fold, I was a die hard Manny fan as I was a die hard Mayweather fan, me being a younging arguing about my bigger before the barrera match, and he swore up and down manny would get his shyt pushed in, I was hard down on my stance that he would beat the ever loving shyt out of Barrera after seeing how relentless he was and how much of a buzz saw he was over the 2 years before. Despite him saying Manny chin was pure china which was the consensus I didnt waver. And long behold Manny dominates son

My Bro being butthurt said Mannny is on roids anyway dont be surprised one day when that test comes back dirty with the :mjpls:

We fuss more about boxing and he says if Manny face a counterpuncher like Mayweather it's lights out for china chin. I said I agree but if anybody was to trouble Mayweather in the future it would be Manny fukking Pacquaio. And big bro proceeds to learn me about this boxing shyt while shaking his head....

This was far far before the Mayweather fiasco, Manny on roids, Manny being beaten 4x arguably by JMM average ass, and getting his will broken by a very beatable Bradley

I admit way wa back in the day that Manny would be the guy to give Mayweather a fight(and not play around int the ring like May has lately), either super stanning Manny or arguing just to argue

I have a few more unpopular boxing beliefs, I will post when my workload dies down, but do yall have any unpopular boxing belief that yall want to fess up to, discuss.......:myman:

I was a super Jeff Lacy stan when I was younger. There is no way I thought he would lose anytime soon.....especially to a "bum" named Joe Calzaghe who never fought anybody and only fights overseas.

I could've bet anything on the fact that Baby Tyson, with arms of steel, would go over there and murder this overrated chump and BOY was I wrong.

Yall already know the outcome, so it's no point in reliving. However, that wasnt the worst part. The worst was when he continued fighting and kept losing to old Roy Jones, Jermaine Taylor, falling around the ring/grabbing and throwing down ESPN fighters on that fight he had on ESPN.

It was over for him and I could think of was "wow. I thought he was the real deal, but never paid attention to his height and arm length compared to others....as well as the fact that he went away from using his jab."

I had bought into the hype and realized from that point on, I would REALLY scout a fighter to make sure he is the real deal before following them (AB is that dude:blessed:)

Never again will I be "Jeff Lacy'd" aka The boxing version being "Catfished" (becoming a fan of a boxer who isnt what he appears to be)

I really thought that if Roy Jones and Lennox Lewis fought in 03 (it almost happened) Roy woulda won. Still do

After Lewis knocked out Tyson, he really let himself go. He was bloated and in terrible condition. He was really there for the taking. He just didn't have it anymore, and was very lucky to escape with a W. Anybody that wasn't a bum or totally past it coulda taken him.

Unless he caught him and knocked him out, Roy woulda won by UD

I believe that a majority of Tyson matches in the 90's were fixed

I also believe Manny Pacquaio took his foot off the gas completely and laid down for Bradley

Only one I could see is Bruce Seldon, everyone else he beat during that span tried to throw but got hit with some bangers, and were legit done/beaten.

Seldon didn't even wait for Mike to land :russ:.

I have to agree with @Newzz on Jeff Lacey

I also thought that if Tyson came in shape/off meds to fight Lewis (220 ish not the 240-250 lbs he showed up with) he would have won. He actually buzzed Lennox early with a hook, didn't nothing else afterwards.

I think Tony would have beaten Hopkins if they had the chance to match up

Lennox Lewis would've beaten the breaks off Roy no matter what shape he was in, are you serious
Holyfield is too big for Roy Lennox Lewis is not Ruiz by any means

LL wasnt unbeatable, the mental edge Roy had over his opponents would have closed and surpassed that physical gap IMO

Shame Roy lost that unshakable mental edge over a few pre fight words,, what your excuse gonna be tonight Roy, you could tell Tarver had Roys's soul after that

Honestly I felt Roy would've campaigned well at heavy, pre tarver 2. He could of at least picked up another strap and pump faked regarding LL, he would have beat the shyt out of Bryd, the later a Holyfield or Tyson. The division was his for the taking as long as he faced the older shot names......
