that's awesomeIm great
no, groups were separated into "black thomas" and "white thomas" groups, and unknowingly received the same paper.Wait a minute so these people graded the same test sheet even though they intentionally gave the black guy lower scores than the white counterpart correct?
what kills me is how some dudes continue to make comments that race is secondary and we need to stop being so aware of it. they want to make the case that if we act like race doesn't matter and just grab bootsraps then we'll be able to realize a post racial society where we're judged on our merits instead of our skin color. don't dwell on the past just move to the future like the past doesn't matter. take personal responsibility and blame for your accomplishments and failures. don't demand things are kept honest and controls put in place to make sure that happens, just ignore it and it will go away. then you get real evidence like this that smacks them in the mouth as a reminder that no matter how tight your bootstraps are or how post racially you view yourself people will always judge you first by your color. this is why we can't shrug off racist acts by people in power or just ignore it and act like it will self correct. got to keep the pressure on from all angles and keep turning it up.

yupSo either way it's like i thought.... they graded the black paper more harshly reguardless.
@BarNone thoughts?
Your father sounds very hopeless."Why am I telling you that you could've done better when you got an A-, when most people got Bs and your friend Chris got a B+? You see, he's your close friend but remember that you're going to grow up to be a black man in America. He gets a B you better get an A. He gets a B+, you better get an A+. You have to be undeniably better, and that's how it will always be." - My father to a 5 year old BarNone. Nothing about my perspective has changed.
