korean films are starting to come the fukk way up

Korean been dope as fukk. Before the internet Hollywood used to straight up steal stories from Korean films. Now that the Korean film industry can get distribution here it fukked up one of Hollywood's pipelines for "original" movies.

She ain't with dude no more.... but peep her exchange with his wife :banderas: :whoo:
When Mrs. Hong confronted Kim Min Hee about the affair, the actress reportedly replied, "That's why you should've managed your husband better." When the actress' mother approached the confrontation, Kim Min Hee is said to have told her not to listen to Mrs. Hong, calling her crazy. However, her mother is said to have been aware of the affair, telling Mrs. Hong, "I'll convince my daughter and Director Hong. I'll return him to your family."

In a recent interview with Star News, Mrs. Hong stated, "I will never divorce him. I'm going to wait for him until I die. I still love my husband, and he loved me too. Everyone around us knows how family-oriented my husband is. I'm being hopeful. My husband will return to me."

Great movie. Certainly Park's best in a while. It reminded me a bit of a period piece take on Gone Girl, what with the movie switching gears and focus in Part Two of the story to reveal a completely new take on the events we saw before, but done about a hundred times more interesting. While I think Park did lose a bit of focus at the end with the unnecessary fukkery shyt straight out of his Vengeance movies, and like @FlyRy mentioned he did seem to try a bit too hard to copy La Vie d'Adele with the sex scenes, the rest was largely perfect done, and I can't give enough praise on the camera work in Korean cinema which continues to be some of the most fluent and dynamic camera work I've ever seen. These cats move cameras so eloquently it's as if they have been doing it since birth.

i figure some girl got hit with it not necessarily the aunt... but idk they did go out of their way to show that picture in the book... I knew an octopus was down there too when they showed it because that was so random..I just don't remember the aunt speaking on an octopus in her story telling. Also do you think he possibly killed the uncles body guards as well with the 3 cigarettes...? I know he got back to the uncle and he still got tortured but there must have been a reasoning why he tried to smoke them out

He wasn't trying to smoke him out. His cigarette box held white cigarettes (normal ones) and blue cigarettes (containing mercury). If he were to end up in a situation where there was no way out, he would smoke the mercury cigarettes to kill himself. In the car he realized his odds were fukked so to be certain that he'd get a mercury cigarette if he asked for one, he smoked up all the normal cigarettes.

All jokes aside this was dope and Iove the director. I personally think sympathy for Mr vengeance is his best work.

It still didn't beat the 7 minute lesbian scene in La Vie d'Adele (also known as Blue Is The Warmest Color). :ohlawd:
