Yeah, the parents are wrong to sue. It's up to them to monitor what their kids are doing.. but online gaming is a different beast, man. I feel like this needs to be acknowledged.
They are specifically designed to keep you queueing up the next round, or grinding to the next level or achievement, without any end in sight. The constant dopamine hits are like crack and will absolutely rewire a young, impressionable mind.
I'm not giving the parents a pass, but I am saying that they may not be aware of how addicting online games can be, and how easily they can cause a child to spiral out of control.
