Zeke and Faulk have both been represented by the agent Rocky Arcenaux...that's the connection. Faulk has known Zeke since he was in high school.

Marshall has some random dislike for Dallas but it's probably just because hating on Dallas gets you more attention. He is one of those dudes that sounds like he might be smart but will lead Zeke down the wrong path. Obviously not doing a good job mentoring Elliott.

Pretty sure it stems from the 2008 season where Faulk (who was just starting out at the time) was suppose to interview Romo the week of the Baltimore game, but was blown off cause Romo took a knee to the back the week prior and opted to get more treatment instead. I don't think anyone from the Cowboys informed him (Faulk) that the interview was cancelled or they may have told Faulk too close to the actual time the interview was slated to occur. So thats where all this strife could be from.

It's impossible to consistently defend in this era, though.

We'll never see 70s, 80s, 90s stifling defenses again. shyt, we won't even see 00s Bucs or Ravens type defenses again. Only reason why 13-14 Seahawks defense was able to play bully ball was because the refs swallowed the whistle on a lot of PI and Holding from their secondary. Sherman even said that was their goal, force them to swallow, pause, because they can't throw a flag on every play.

Our defense is basically as good as you can hope in today's soft ass modern NFL where Ryan Tannehill has thrown for more 4,000 yard seasons than Joe Montana ever did.

Marinelli def overrated, though. Jaylon and LVE being dominant ain't on him. Neither is the solid DB play last year and this preseason.

I think Marinelli's D allows Jalen to shine. He might not be a good cover guy (still not 100%) but covering zone he's the man. Running freely and spying, no one does it better. A bigger key is a stud MLB and LVE is that. Having Jalen next to him elevates the defense.

All things considered, you have to have a few studs at key positions to make his D look great. DE, DT, MLB, CB1 and FS. Dallas has the recipe, plus a whole lot more.

With 35:00 TOP the defense will probably be stifling, you just gotta hope the offense holds up their end of the bargain.

Belichick was doing that to the Buffalo and their K-Gun offense back in the day. I mean this dude got the Browns to the AFC Divisional round.

Of course :beli: is the goat

But is this guy Marinelli let CJ fukkin Anderson run for fukkin 123 yards and a TD, meanwhile he ran for a combined 66 yards vs the Saints and Pats.

Its to a point where its a virtual guarantee, his defense will let us down in a big game. Thats why im not tripping too much of that GB loss at home when we had the 1-seed. ATL wouldve came in and embarrassed us the next week

This old senile fool doesn't prioritize a big run stuffing NT and we will never be a top 3 D because of it
