Ya'll wanna know why the defense isn't good as it was last year.

This is probably one of the reasons. WHY would they hire this nikka as a defensive coach? :mindblown:

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:

the worst era in Cowboys history will be over at 7pm EST :blessed:

Nah. Garrett is part of it, but this is All Jerry Jones.

From 1966 - 1985 (they joined the NFL in 1960), they only missed the playoffs 2 times. That's a 20 year span.

From 1999 - 2019, if they don't make the playoffs, it will be for the 13th time :mjpls:

Jerry Jones is he owner of he worst period in franchise history. For 2 decades, they haven't sniffed a conference championship game.

The cowboys are in the same category as teams like the Bengals, Lions, Jaguars, Bills.

They stink. But Jerry Jones has put so much perfume an air freshener on this franchise, you can barely smell the stench. :scusthov:

nikka We KNOW

Jerry being gone is not going to happen.

A coach that freezes his own kicker, not being able to make the playoffs two years in a row, losing 3 consecutive win and youre in games IS going to happen

But Jerry Jones hired him. He hired Garrett, because he turned down the Falcons and Ravens job.

Look at the coaches on this team right now.

2 of the special teams coaches are former players. Phillip Tanner and Carlos Polk. Neither has coaching experience.
Leon Lett is the defensive line coach and Andre Gurode is a defensive assistant. None of them had prior coaching experience.
Kellen Moore. No coaching experience.
Ken Amato. Another defensive assistant.. NO coaching experience.
Stepen Brown An offensive assistant with NO coaching experience.

You see the pattern? :mjpls:

In 2004 when Parcells was the head coach (he hand picked his staff, Garrett wasn't allowed to), these were his coaches

Offensive Coordinator: Maurice Carthon - Currently the assistant head coach of the KC Chiefs
Defensive Coordinator: Mike Zimmer - Currently the head coach of the Vikings
Other Assistant Coaches: Todd Haley - Left and was the offensive coordinator of the Cardinals when the went to the super bowl, and also became a head coach
Gary Gibbs (LB Coach) - Left to coach with the saints and chiefs
Kacy Rodgers (DT Coach)
Tony Sparano (TE Coach) - Became a head coach
Sean Payton (AHC/QB Coach) - :mjpls:
Mike MacIntyre (DB Coach)

Jason Garrett doesn't even have a coaching tree. Why? Because Jerry Jones picked his coordinators. Garrett wanted to go back to calling plays but Jones told him no. Then hires a OC with zero coaching experience. I don't blame him for thrown Moore under the bus last week.

This is a quote from Jerry Jones in 2015, the first year of Garrett's contract which is about to expire.

“I am stunned that we haven’t been able to win more games without Tony… And I would have thought that we could have coached it up enough, and put it together enough, that we would not have lost those games without Romo early. We would be in better shape than we are right now.”

- Jerry Jones

He shouldn't have extended him in the first place. After having 3 straight 8-8 seasons, he finally goes to the playoffs, but couldn't get to the NFC championship game. That should've all Jones needed to see. But instead he extends him, and every other season since then, he hasn't been able to even get to the playoffs.

So Tyron is going to try and make a late push to play:mjlol: This team is so damn retarded because if he does play today then he most likely wouldn't be healthy enough for a playoff run, and that's if they win and the Eagles lose.

I know they won’t but I wish they’d let all the hurt players rest. At this point who really wants to make the playoffs. I’m ready for Jason to get his papers tomorrow and let the new coach search begin.

Dallas Cowboys are nepotism capital. Most former Cowboys (not Jimmy guys) are position coaches. Garrett own brother works in the offices. I wouldn't be surprised if Witten is the next coach. It's a poorly ran actual football team but the franchise is thriving. Jerruh won
