In terms of offensive yardage, when was the last time a team with a top 5 passing QB AND a top 5 rushing RB didn't make the playoffs?

A lot of Daks passing yards came either against weak ass opponents at the beginning of the season or when they were playing from behind.

The real stats is the throws he over/under threw, the balls the receivers dropped or the receivers he didn't throw to when he should have.


It's funny because the offense they ran in week one looked nothing like it does now.

They ran more hurry up. Dak got the ball out quicker and they were ahead of the curve. Then they reverted back to trying to be a ball control team. Being too methodical. But more times than not they were going 3 and out.

In 4 of the losses Dak threw for over 300 yards.

In 9 full seasons as head coach Jason Garrett has

Gone 8-8 - 4 times
9-7 once.
4-12 once.

So he's only had 3 good seasons in 9 years, and only 2 playoff wins.

Point being Dallas never sucked for this long before Jerry Jones bought the team. What he did in the 90's only lasted 5 years.

From 1966 - 1985 (20 seasons) Dallas only missed thr playoffs twice.

If Dallas misses the playoffs this year, it will be the 13th time in 20 seasons.

Basically everything Jerry Jones accomplished when he first bought the team doesn't mean shyt. He's never been able to duplicate or reproduce what Jimmy Johnson did. And he probably never will.

There is a real possibility that Dallas will never but legit contenders again until Jerry Jones is dead, and they sell the team, because Stephen Jones will probably carry on the legacy of not hiring a General Manager.

100% agree. Completely different offense. Barely any pre-snap motion, lack of 10 personnel, lack of 11 personnel (with Jarwin), waaay less play action.

Also doesn't help Dak and Coop out there trynna play thru injuries. They should have not been playing if they're hurt. They not getting excuses from me.

And an actual GM, that can do GM things like hire his own coach and let the coach pick his coordinators/position coaches. Or maybe even a coach who can take on those responsibilities as well.

So we can all stop feeling like this every January.

Yeah.. Ive said all along Amari is hurt. Unlike most of yall, I hope he is re-signed with a fresh start under a new staff.

Let some other team give him insane money 2 years from now

Or it can be us. But 2 years from now

You either should have paid him 2 years ago for a reasonable price or you pay him 2 years from now when you know he’s worth the Mahomes money that he’s asking for

I’m saying skip the two years and get rid of this average ass qb now. Seriously how many QBs really improve their actual accuracy not completion percentage after like 4/5 years in the league actually playing? Dak is what he is for the most part trust and believe that.
