Seems like a lot of the players picked are on teams with a chance to go to the super bowl. So if Jaylon or Dak, do get put on as alternates, it would mean they didn't make it.
I wouldn't care about it really. And in Jaylon's case, he just signed a lucrative deal (which is what players try to leverage pro bowl appearances into).
Is he that delusional that he thought he deserved to be in the Pro Bowl this season? Have the coaches not humbled him and let him know his performance has been subpar? Does he not see the hundreds of tweets every week from fans scolding his play? Jaylon might low key be the most hated player on the team right now. I've never seen a fall off like this.

It’s not just Garrett. Entire staff and front office is full of clappers and all the players get patted on the head.
Guarantee you Jaylon plays like shyt, has poor gap discipline, terrible lateral movement, and a liability in both pass and run. But he finishes the game with 13 tackles and then they suck him off all week for being a great tackler and “finishing plays.”

His position coach Ben Bloom, much like Keith O'Quinn, has jumped from role to role within this organization since Garrett was hired. The fact that these two spares have found a way to maintain a job here for that length of time, outlasting numerous coordinators, is a red flag for me that they are both "company men" and "Garrett loyalists". They are the true "Garrett guys" and the limbs on his coaching tree. Embarrassing that the richest sports franchise on planet Earth would settle for this level of coaching but that's par for the course for these hicks running this franchise.
