Think about the game plans the last 2 games
Saints have a mediocre secondary and a great front 4..so we run instead of tryig to spread them out
Packers have a poor front 7 and a very good secondary..so we pass it around in spread offense
Think about what the coaches have schemed prior to the last 2 games
Packers weakness is ILB, not the whole front 7 breh. We lead the league in qb pressures by far and top 5 in sacks.

I hate to break it to you, but so far this defense has been average.
Yeah, they don't give up a ton of points, and they don't give up big plays but..
1. they don't make plays.
2. they don't do any one thing particular well.
3. they play down to their competition at times.
4. they are front runners... (as is the entire team)
5. they don't know how to defend the back shoulder fade.
6. they make mistakes at the wrong time.
7. they don't set the tone.
8. they have too many mental lapses.

And yet they are 7th in point and 6th in total yards. It could be a whole lot worse but this is what a top 10 defense looks like (minus the TO) in 2019.
I doubt we see LVE have another game like he did Sunday. Jalen can't possibly play any worse than he has to start the season. The D will improve, long as they're balling in Novemeber/December then that's all that matters. I think they'll get better before they get worse.
