New podcast on the Cowboys app/website with Barry Church, Danny McCray and Newy Scrugs.

Boys had me rollin' when they started talking about the team film review of highlights and lowlights.

They also mentioned they were tempted to jump Scandrick one year.

:russ:

Only half way thru the video, but their perspective has been quite refreshing.

Edit: podcast called the Player's Lounge
Gotta see this. Also curious if they had any thoughts on the new offense compared to the vanilla shyt they were used to seeing

And Orlando has bytchmade tendencies, not surprised to hear that

Even if we put up 24-30+ in the next couple of weeks vs WAS and MIA, we still won't know if this team is for real.

Waiting to see if the aggressive playcalling, approach, execution, and confidence are on display against a real team, which won't happen til Saints Week 4. When there's expectations, spotlight, and actual talent and preparation on the other end.

Until then we should do what good teams do. And that's put up close to 30 or more and win comfortably against Washington and Miami. That won't get me hyped, it'll just be us doing what we're supposed to do.
I'm not buying into the hype yet.

Yeah the playcalling was more aggressive and there was more premotion movement but when will we ever score 5 straight TDs. I feel like that was more on them than us. Playing Washington will be a test, with what I would say is a better defense than NO.

I'm looking to see if we're taking the game to NO or sitting back to see how they play. Over the years it's always been the latter and a game against the Giants isn't going to take me out of that mind set.

But not to get too ahead of myself, I'm scared of an old angry AD too. Truth be told cause we haven't been able to stop the run in the games two games I've seen.

edit: If we put 30 on washington, I'll be impressed

The redskins have a more formidable defense than the Giants. This will definitely be a better test before going into our bye week.

Week 1 we saw Dak throwing the ball into coverage. I wonder if he scales that back this week against better corners. Also will be interesting to see if Norman shadows Cooper.

I think this will be a 25-30 carry Zeke game and the O looks completely different than last week.
What coverage?:russ:

Their tacos are whatever. But their Diablo sauce is probably one of the best hot sauces I've ever had.
Taste. Spice. Texture. :ohlawd:

Washington is trash brehs :gucci:

Did yall watch Philly go on a 32-3 run against this “great defense” they have :gucci:

Once Johnathan Allen went out, their defense was :flabandsickdeadskin:

Im just worried about our own defense. Particularly the run defense
Not great but solid. They are a middle of the pack defense

what a different a year makes

Not a great defense a good one though. Without Allen they prob go to above average. Still better than the Giants. And I’m not worried about our d at all. If Dak shows week 1 wasn’t a fluke we winning by double digits

He's made throws like last week before. Left side to Dez vs. PIT. Coop all game vs. PHI. Gallup on the left in div game vs LAR last year

Just seems like breh is only dropping dimes maybe once every 5 or 6 games. He has a tendency to turn it up in the 4th, which is always nice, but he doesn't come game-in, game-out with the precision.

I'm gonna need to see 250+ the next 3 weeks. No more than 2 INTs. At least 6 TDs rushing and passing combined from him. More smart runs like last week, either RPO or scramble, idgaf. And he needs to not take stupid ass sacks.

I don't think I could complain too much about $35mil at that point.

dont sleep on deadskins... this is our rival, and they come to play every time. its going to be a nail bitter. we should pull this off. very close game. we beat them and crush Miami, we be 3-0 and have the saints and packers up next.

:dwillhuh: Isn't the strength of the Redskins defense their 2 big DTs stuffing the run though?
