Mike & Mike saying that the fight was horrible. All last week they were saying they don't watch boxing on a regular basis. I'll give them credit that they blamed it on Pacquiao for not bringing the fight to Floyd. I say people who say the fight was bad is because the person who they wanted to win got embarrassed.

:dead: @ How scared Manny was to let his hands go

Dude was straight shook!

Honestly, you can pick apart the fight in many ways, but the simplest explanation I've heard is that Manny felt Floyds power, speed, and reflexes early in the fight, and simply wanted no parts of any of it afterwards. Dude was scared shytless to get Marquezed again.

And if he had been more aggressive, I have no doubts that he would have been.

I'd like to point out the stark contrast between the British commentary team on Sky Box Office and the American team on HBO.

The British team knew after Round 1 that Floyd was in control and consistently admired his work. Jim Watt was waxing lyrical about how good Floyd looked and the pair were damning of Pacquiao, with Carl Froch joining on when asked. I felt HBO team were far less understanding of the situation, and were nowhere near as complimentary to Floyd as they should have been. In fact, they seemed to lack any real knowledge.

This is also something I've picked up with the post-fight articles. Steve Bunce, a British boxing reporter was spot on with his assessment in this national newspaper, and yet US based reporters seem wide of the mark. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-pacquiao-with-a-shattered-look-10222732.html

It's pretty much the same way every fight.

I feel like that Hatton fight really put a lot of them in their place....:russ:

I didn't catch anything earlier, but watching now...and these dudes are actually trying to say that the most memorable thing was the Kentucky Derby and that that's what people will remember in 5 years....Jemele Hill said Age of Ultron....

He's now reiterating that Pacman is to "blame" for the fight....:ehh:

british gained a lot of respect for mayweather after the hatton fight. of course they wanted hatton to win, but the way floyd fought in that fight they realised how good he was. same as golf, tiger always say the britsh open those crowds understand good shots and bad shots, and arent just shouting “get in the hole” etc. same as boxing.

A one trick pony. Not just that, I think that he and Roach really believed that bullshyt about his legs. They came to literally steal rounds. I've already said that he's where he's at based on careful matchmaking. Floyd took advantage of the poor footwork, poor techniques, etc.... Floyd's fight with zab taught him a lot. Floyd's fight with marcos taught him a lot and to simply try to replicate those successes is fool's gold. Floyd learns AND remembers. Manny never had a chance at any point in history

I think Golic hit the nail on the head was most people screaming the loudest hates Mayweather and they listened to the media for years saying Pacquiao was the guy to beat Mayweather and his performance magnified their disappointment because they wanted him to shut Floyd up

Chino be in them streets. You know he's been in a few bar fights, and gang rumbles. Dude looks like he's down for whatever
Chino isn't worried about nothing , he'll go out on his sword. Pac should fight him since he wants someone to come forward at him

I actually feel bad for those Pinoy fans. And I really mean it. I have NOTHING against Pacman. He is a very nice person and I respect him. But I just didnt want him to win. If he did the white media would NEVER let up about May losing. Pacman was just being used as their foot soldier. He was their shot in trying to be Floyd IN THE RING and it did not work out.
what's worse for these pinoys manny's selfie taking ass, aint show up to fight let alone win
