Let me help the brehs out who were probably too young and didn't have a psycho boxing stan uncle to put things in perspective for them. Tyson was fighting on prime time tv and getting purses that were unheard of for a non olympic medaling fighter who was still green. Cus was a smart dude and paid camera crews $$$ to get his amateur and first couple of fights recorded with great quality. Dude would send the tapes to the newspapers and magazines and that helped get the ball rolling hence why ABC paid a grip for his fights against jobbers. At the time hbo had a heavyweight tournament in which the purses were averaging a little under a million they were trying to negotiate Tyson into the tournament for the longest and the minute dude entered his opponents were immediately making 2-3 mill purses. This was against a green Tyson friends, Maidana just made 3 million against Floyd

In a moment of reflection today, talking to my stepfather about the fight. It made me think, is Roach saying all this stuff publicly so that all of the shyt talking that he has done through the years falls off of him because Manny couldn't do what I asked. It won't be because of Roach, it'd be because Manny couldn't see what I saw or what I asked him to do. His erratic behavior leads me to believe that this is quite possible.

What is hard to follow? Roach for years has talked shyt about Floyd, his legs and a gameplan to beat him. Roach strikes me as a person that when Manny loses, he won't take any of the blame. Instead of saying that I came up with the wrong gameplan, his narrative will be that Manny couldn't follow his gameplan, that he gave Manny the blueprint but Manny didn't see it though, thus trying to walk away from the fight with his reputation unscathed.

I can't speak for Manny but Floyd does have some rest days, as he gets older, its all about smarter, not harder. When Senior came back into the fold, he talked to Floyd about this. That he's leaving more of himself than he needs to in the gym.

I didnt see Ali doing Pepsi commercials, I saw Tyson doing that. its why MJ is an icon, Tyson, Michael Jackson, it was a breakthrough in advertisement, the first of its kind. Now we have the internet and vines. different times man, different times.
I remember when I was 12, I promised myself that no matter what I was going to keep up with the times, music, technology and all that. Someone earlier said they didnt know who Mayweather was until 2007....so old that he doesnt realize 07 was damn near 10 years ago. You see? thats what happens when you start aging. To us that was yesterday, to these kids that was 10 years ago, they graduated 10 years ago and they're 27 now.

I think you underestimate how hard it is to go viral because you see a cat with chopsticks go viral ONCE, you see a cpl youtube comedians go viral but ignore the 20 million who are trying.
