I still stand by saying I wouldn't sign him as an outright free agent, let alone give up compensation of any kind

I can kind of get it more for a team like the Jets if they want what looks like stability from a vet

But he's slowly slid into being a fukking moron and was super washed last year. So I'm not really sure how much a retarded 40 year old conspiracy idiot who costs $60 mil is really going to provide stability and leadership

Jets are gonna be disappointed again

This guy doesn't wanna lead and has terrible character

They should give up nothing more than 2nd and 3rd picks with conditions for this guy

They should be falling all over themselves to try to get Lamar Jackson if it's only going to cost them 2 first rounders.

They should give up pursuing him.

All this for a QB who said he was 90% about to retire before sitting in a dark room for a few days:mjlol:

60 million for a one year rental vs getting a former MVP who hasn't entered his prime. They should have explored all options not gone all in on the biggest diva in the NFL. They're really feeling themselves if they think they're in win now mode.

Hurry up and pull the trigger Jets. fukk it, I'll take a 3rd round at this point.
Help me understand what the Packers FO are still fighting for?

Do they just like being in the news or something? Everyone knows y'all are done with him. I'm shocked y'all didn't take a 2nd day pick for him at this point.

They aren't. They are set on Love. They are just subtly dragging feet to fukk with Aaron and the Jets.

Packers FO has been fugazi since Ron Wolf left. Had we have had competent folks running the team, we would have more than 2 SBs to show for in my life time :beli:

Yeah. 5 years ago I would say they would possible win a SB with Rodgers. I don't think so now. It's truly a waste of money and they will be set back a few years because they just don't know how to pick good QBs. Darnold and Wilson is the proof in recent years.

He could get hurt game 1 and the season's over with 60 million down the drain. At least with a longer term option you have the QB issue resolved. No chip and then what? You're back looking for a QB and who's available, Cousins?

The Jets and GB both put themselves in a bind. GB should've never extended Arod and once they got rid of their #1 WR they should've started over with Love. The Jets left themselves with no options. Still can't believe they passed on Fields for the Mormon.
