Pacing and final boss aside, UC3 was a far better game than UC2

They see me trolling, they hating.....
UC3 is better in the following categories

- Graphics (although UC2s were already fantastic, the visual upgrade while not huge is definitely noticeable)

- Story (no explanation needed....don't think anyone would disagree with this....UC2 had no story)

- Hand to hand combat (no explanation needed)

- :krs: moments (UC2 only had about 2 "wow" moments - the train and the car jumping part), UC3 had many more, falling from the airplane, fighting ur way thru dozens of bad guys then gaining access to the plane thru the wheel, The entire fire scene in that mansion, jumping from horse to car and back to horse, ___ being murked (well we thought he had died), the entire Ship at Sea part etc.)

- Multiplayer (more options and balance....plus the addition of co op arena which is probably the most fun mode, especially on crushing imo)

Besides the fact that the game starts off slow (to build up story, which is perfectly fine with me because 65% of the reason why I game is because the stories intrigue me) and has an underwhelming last "boss" I don't really see how cats can honestly say UC2 was the better game. UC3 does everything else better and is the better game IMO

Story, graphics and hand to hand are not important to me personally. Moments kind of aren't either as that relates to story more so than gameplay.

Didn't play multiplayer in UC3. By the time it came out I was kind of burnt out on shooter mp.

I thought UC2 was better in shooting - what I feel is the main component to the gameplay. The controls were better and the actual "set pieces" or fight moments were designed better.

there's an option in UC3 that sets the shooting controls back to how they were in UC2

and no fight moments in UC2 were better than the ones in UC3 bro.

:rudy: at the bolded

UC2's multiplayer was better and most would agree. And LOL @ at UC2 only having 2 wow moments. And pacing is one of the most important aspects of a game and it's why UC2 is better. 3 is still great but not fukking with 2

what other wow moments did UC2 have besides the ones I mentioned?

the only other cool thing I could think of is when that camera dude gets shot and u gotta carry that bytch nikka but that doesn't really meet the criteria for "wow" moment for me tho b. The collapsing building part is overrated IMO also.

Those two moments >>>>>> some of the moments you listed for 3

Also the opening scene, the attack on the village, the chase scene, when the protectors show up, when you get to the city

so many classic moments in that game

I'm aware of the option in UC3 but it didn't improve trying to move your crosshair diagonally.

I thought the fight moments were better in UC2. They really let the AI shine more. The best fight moment in UC3 was the ship. Everything else was usually in too small of a space and generally played out the same way each time you played it. I think this was because they were trying to emphasize hand to hand more. That's their prerogative, and if you like that better than cool. But I didn't.

Oh yeah and all of those scenes as a kid? They were boring. Would have been much more improved if they included better puzzles or something. Overall it was a lot less shooting and more storytelling and hand-to-hand. Which I think is evident based on the pros you listed in the OP.

LOL @ collapsing building moment being overrated.

:wtb:

-The Tank chasing you in the Tibet Village shootout.
-Chloe's ass
-Carrying a wounded Jeff while getting swarmed by solders.
-The three way fight between Drake/Guardians/Lazarevic men.
-When you get attacked by the Helicopter in Nepal.
-Flynn committing suicide and nearly killing Elena.

Come on breh...The single player had me hooked from beginning to end.

Ehhhhh overrated moments b :ehh:
Overrated moments B???

Breh you been slipping lately first you was wilding out in that RE thread talking about the old RE being ass and now this??

UC2 was a better polished game and the majority of fans share those same feelings.

The shooting was by FAR better in UC2. The toggle option patched into UC3(which by itself is :mjpls: worthy) fixed diagonal aiming but the actual
mechanics stayed the same. The excess recoil and sticky aim were a nuisance.

The MP was an unbalanced mess. The game will have it's 15th patch this month for online. FIFTEEN!

Graphics were worst in MP. Chloe's ass for example.

UC3 on the right.

Let me not even get started on the pacing. The first half of UC3 was slow and boring. Characters just left without no notice and ehh it was just :why:.

I don't even like MP no more i cut it on last night, played and cut the game off mid match and went to Gears 3.(:whew:)

That doesn't have to do with the fact that the MP is unpolished and is unbalanced though. I played it mostly because there wasn't anything else I had on my PS3 at the time. I don't buy games that much and only time I'm playing a new game is if it's from Gamefly or a big title I buy.

I've hardly played UC3 in the past month though I been playing BF3 a little more. Either way I think UC3 was a big disappointment in the long run and I hope they return it back to something great if they make UC4.
