NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
That's the point though. He wasn't around gangs before his career. That wasn't his thing in New York or Baltimore. By all accounts he was a good kid focused on rapping and acting. He moves to Cali and while he was around the streets Richie Rich said he was a square and not a thug. There wasn't any gang banging when he was around the Bay.

Biggie's situation is a bit different because he grew up with those guys. Pac was a grown man latching on to gangsters who had no allegiance to him. They were only around based on what he could do for them. That's why Jimmy and Jack had no problem turning on him. He got way to close with those types when he's nothing like them.
Wrong. Pac wasnt a “good kid” trying to act. The nikka went to that damn arts school in B More and came straight back home to the gutter. He was just more well rounded cause of that school. But his boy got killed while he was in B More which started him really tryna rap in the first place. Pac was a regular nikka in the hood. He wasnt a killer or gangster or none of that but he was always surrounded by them. Most of his family was convicted felons. He was surrounded by the black panther party. Grew up in it. And had run in’s with the govt since he was a child. nikka moved to Oakland and was hanging out in the streets wit the drug dealers n shyt like that. He was a square in terms that he wasnt gangbanging. But Pac had it 10x rougher than Biggie growing up and was surrounded by more thoro individuals who all ended up doing Fed time. Pac was ATLEAST based and lived in Cali. What was Biggie’s excuse for being a NY nikka and affiliating with an LA Crip set? Yet Pac gets the heat for being around gangs and not Biggie.

Just still surprises me that nikkaz hate on the homie. I really would like to see these hating ass dude be put in Pac shoes, and have to go through all that shyt he went thru. Just to see how they would handle the situation. Pac still the goat as far as I'm concerned. Did he make some bonehead ass moves? Yea, he did. I've seen nikkaz make the same mistakes at his age and older. Dont mean shyt to me. I get it. Some of yall just dont like the nikka. To each his own tho. Whether he was in the right or wrong, the man built a lasting legacy, that til this day cant be matched. Coming from a dude who only had maybe a good 5 year run in that industry. That's commendable within itself. :pachaha:

Im startin to think some dudes who speak on this situation either were not born or were real young when 2pac got killed cuz they seem to have a wrong perspective. Dudes sayin 2pac "latched on" to gangsters? 2pac was in NY in 93 and in 94 shootin a movie, doin verses and partying, goin to court, he was around all types of people. Pop stars, actors, street nikkaz, DJ's etc. It wasnt that deep.

That makes 0 sense. Yelling out MOB (and NO it does NOT stand for Money Over bytches, stop it), having it tatted on you etc is the same
as you and your label allegedly hiring Crips for security when u out in their hometown? Was Biggie yelling out Southside? Was it tatted on him? Was he runnin around tryna make his crew SSCC (Souhtside Compton Crips)-like?

fukk is u talking about here?

And NO i am not a Biggie stan.

But its always the same 3 posters ready to quickly jump in and defend 2pac to the grave but then act like they making sense.

No. It’s always the same 3 posters coming in shytting on Pac in every Pac thread. He WAS throwing up gang signs. “Why Biggie and them throwing up gang signs? Yall dont know nothin about no gang signs..”. -Pac. “My team in a marine blue, 6 coupe..” - Biggie. Biggie’s best friend C Gutta is a Crip TILL THIS DAY. Yet Biggie’s label was only fukkin wit Crips when they are out of their hometown? Ok. Smh. Lol.

And please explain how do you latch onto gangsters? These dudes are weirdos.. They let Pac kick it with them because they wanted something out of the deal just like Pac did. If they didnt want him there, he wouldnt have been simple as that, but these the same geeks that somehow think Puffy was some major underground gangster when all he was to them was food. Thing is Pac peeped game on this sucka ass nikka and distanced himself.

Notorious BIG was actually said to physically, literally, be in that gang hood in Compton, CA when he was out there. If they were only "security", why would he be actually in their neighborhood? Big music stars don't usually be actually physically in their security's neighborhoods when they are outta town. You can hear it spoken on in this vid at 8:10-

Yeah both Jack and Henchmen were already connected to the music industry anyway of course he was around them i mean by some people's logic the Fugees and Salt n Pepa"latched on" to gangsters. Dude was just partyin and caught a rape case that seemed bogus to most people. Thats what lead to his shooting, prison, and ultimately to sign with Death Row records when he did, to put him in another closer association with gang-affiliated niccaz.

Thank you. And they brought Pac into their world, they didnt have to school him on all the street shyt they were into and how they REALLY got their money because as far as they (Pac biggie etc) knew these was just some former street dudes trying fly straight.. not knowing these dudes were still deep in the drug, robbery and extortion game. This nikka jack see thru. You think he dropping 15k on a watch because he loved Pac like that? Naaa it was on some ight and now you owe me one.. Thats why he mad bummy in DR by his self because nobody respect a rat.
