I don't think Busta's run was on that level tbh

and I don't buy into the greatness of the Makaveli album. It is fantastic, don't get me wrong. But it wasn't as good as the first two. Whereas in Redman's case, you can make an argument for any of the 3 being best and they're all on an equal footing.

I think OutKast, Tribe, Redman, Cube and maybe Ghost can make a case.

What about Common? Resurrection, One Day & Like Water. Pretty great run.

MATW, AEOM,and the Makaveli albums all dropped between '95/'96....One being a double album, which makes it damn near 4 albums of pure fire in a 12-18 month period.

That 3 album run by Pac is the GOAT album collective in hip hop.

Cube is one of the greats...but please go back and listen to those albums.
A lot of those tracks aged horribly.

MATW came out in 94 and still sounds fresh.
AEOM sounds like it came out last year.
Makaveli is one of the few hip hop albums that has its own unique sound, and has yet to be duplicated.
