hit it, & I didn't go Erykah Badu crazy, #yallmad
it seems stretching material for ten episodes now is like pulling teeth
I thought it was dope. 
Damn good cinematography, editing, soundtrack/sound design, and directing.
I thought there was more character development in this pilot than there are in other seasons in shows.
Mississippi, Autumn Night and Mercedes
, the women are fine AF.
I'm so used to LGBTQIA and DL characters being in every show that I'm actually surprised if there's not one in.
They do it so much that when they try to do surprises like the manager and the rapper hooking up, it doesn't have impact.
I don't think the owner/manager is a transwoman, just a sassy gay breh who likes to wear wigs and makeup. We'll see as the story progresses.

Definitely enjoyed the soundtrack and cinematography. Storyline is left to be determined. Not turrible tho. The tranny manager is a bit over the top, but I guess that's the trope. Some of the music reminded me of that 36 Mafia/Memphis shyt I fell in love with as a youngin.
Mercedes was doing some matrix shyt. Her and Mississippi killed their sets. Autumn is ol girl from Harry Potter that everyone was going crazy over. Clifford is like a knock off Lafayette from True Blood. Diamond looks like he related to Ghost from Power. It was entertaining. Seems like it's gonna be like a gritty version of Claws
Pretty cliched, and the characters are thin, but the aesthetic is very dope, the kind of Spring Breakers/Belly/Waves look, I love. Sent the trailer to a stripper friend of mine.
Like a review said, the sub plots are really soapy.
The shady but good guy taking pictures in the parking lot as love interest to the strong, but broken new girl, Autumn.
The matriarch/top girl who is vying with the younger one, but ends up collaborating with her
The hyper masculine male, who is hiding his sexuality
