Methaqualone, such as Quaaludes, were prescribed sedatives that increase GABA (neurotransmitter) receptor activity. As a sleeping aid, this drug was a sedative and hypnotic. A hypnotic, or sporophoric drug helps induce sleep, which is why someone would be prescribed Quaaludes in the first place.

:what:Even if you don't want to call it rape, this means that Cosby likes having sex with women who are passed out. He's a sick fukk.

Nxgga quaaludes were a party drug in the 70s, so much so that they even made a movie with Leo Dicaprio taking them religiously cause he liked partying hard :what:

Club drugs range from entactogens such as MDMA ("ecstasy"), 2C-B ("nexus") and inhalants (e.g., nitrous oxide and poppers) to stimulants (e.g., amphetamine and cocaine), depressants/sedatives (Quaaludes, GHB, Rohypnol) and psychedelic and hallucinogenic drugs (LSD and DMT). Dancers at all-night parties and dance events have used some of these drugs for their stimulating properties since the 1960s Mod subculture in U.K., whose members took amphetamine to stay up all night. In the 1970s disco scene, the club drugs of choice shifted to the stimulant cocaine and the depressant Quaaludes. Quaaludes were so common at disco clubs that the drug was nicknamed "disco biscuits". In the 1990s and 2000s, methamphetamine and MDMA are sold and used in many clubs. "Club drugs" vary by country and region; in some regions, even opiates such as heroin and morphine have been sold at clubs, though this practice is relatively uncommon.[5] Narconon states that other synthetic drugs used in clubs, or which are sold as "Ecstasy", include harmaline; piperazines (e.g., BZP and TFMPP); PMA/PMMA; mephedrone (generally used outside the US) and MDPV.[6]

They're the same crime, the distinguishing factor is what part of the body was utilized to penetrate the victim under threat, coercion, or while they are incapacitated :gucci:

Just Google it you stupid motherfukker.

There's nothing that irritates me more than grown men with a world of information at their fingertips, but who are too blockheaded to just do a basic search.

For the sake of everyone else who has to read this exchange:

"Except as provided in sections 3121 (relating to rape), 3122.1 (relating to statutory sexual assault), 3123 (relating to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse) and 3124.1 (relating to sexual assault), a person who engages in penetration, however slight, of the genitals or anus of a complainant with a part of the person's body for any purpose other than good faith medical, hygienic or law enforcement procedures commits aggravated indecent assault if * * *"

(4) the complainant is unconscious or the person knows that the complainant is unaware that the penetration is occurring;
(5) the person has substantially impaired the complainant's power to appraise or control his or her conduct by administering or employing, without the knowledge of the complainant, drugs, intoxicants or other means for the purpose of preventing resistance;

:comeon: I don’t care what you call them. Bill Cosby gave women drugs that are designed to make them go to sleep. He fukked sleeping women. He likes to fukk someone who doesn’t move, make sounds, talk, look at him, hear him, can touch him back. He likes fukking women who have the same reaction as a dead person. That’s what gets this nikka hard? fukking people who don’t even know they’re getting fukked? And you caping for this weirdo?

The headline says he "admitted to getting quaaludes to give to women"

That doesn't say he "admitted to drugging women"

:what: there are men who buy weed to invite women over for a smoke session. That don't mean they drugging the hoes.

:dahell:
Cosby acknowledges having a sexual relationship with accuser Therese Serignese starting around 1976, when she was 19. Serignese, who has gone public with her accusations, has said the first time she met Cosby at a Las Vegas hotel in 1976, he gave her quaaludes and a glass of water before they had sex.

Q: Did you give her quaaludes?

A: Yes.

Q: What effect did the quaaludes have on her?

A: She became in those days what was called high.

Q: She said that she believes she was not in the position to consent to intercourse after you gave her the drug. Do you believe that is correct?

A: I don't know. ... How many years ago are we talking about? 197[6]? ... I meet Ms. Picking in Las Vegas. She meets me backstage. I give her quaaludes. We then have sex.

___

Q: Why didn't you ever take them yourself?

A: I get sleepy.

You purposely left out the rest of that segment where he discusses "getting sleepy".

But lemme ask you a question. This is from Wiki.

In the 1970s disco scene, the club drugs of choice shifted to the stimulant cocaine and the depressant Quaaludes. Quaaludes were so common at disco clubs that the drug was nicknamed "disco biscuits".

So are you telling me that all those people, both men and women, were taking quaaludes in the 70s and the quaaludes made them..... go to sleep? As the above quote from wiki says "quaaludes were so COMMON" meaning that they were widespread and mainstream.

So again, people went to disco parties in the 70s to... go to sleep? :dahell: That don't make sense and you know it don't.
