Fair enough, appreciate the reminders! Actually after I typed my post I went back and reminded myself, my brain forgot some of these things with how Brady bounced back from them. He bounced back so maybe Mahomes will too...

Before reviewing history the only ones I remembered off top were the Giants losses and the '09 Ravens loss which is probably the worst I could recall ever seeing Tom play. I remember some of these a little better now seeing the games but for some reason I don't remember Brady being the primary reasons for these Ls in real time. I wasn't paying attention!

Rep on both...

Respect and reps back for a reasonable response. :salute:

I pull for Mahomes because I want to see a breh get that crown, even a biracial.

You haven't been paying attention because I know you been watching football for years.

2006 AFC Division game Brady threw 2 TD and 3 INT against the Chargers. The last should have been a game loser but Troy Brown bailed him out.
The next week the Pats were up 21-3 just the same as the Chiefs were and the Pats lost. Granted, there were some bad dropped passes. But, Brady was also the beneficiary of his defense's pick six.

2007 AFC champ game, Brady again throws 3 INTs to the Chargers but NE wins 21-12.
During Super Bowl week, Plaxico predicts the Giants will beat the undefeated Pats 23-17. Brady scoffs and says "We're only going to score 17 points? okay..." and says something like "at least give us some credit, why not 45-42?" Man low key shat on his defense. Meanwhile, the Pats didn't score even 17. They scored 14 smh

2009 Ray Rice PUNCHED NE in the mouth on the first play from scrimmage and Brady played like a p*ssy. The Ravens pushed the Pats' offense's shyt in. They lost like 33-14 or something.

2010 the Pats were flying high at 14-2 and facing the Jets in the Pats first game. "how are the NYJ going to close that 42 point gap after that 45-3 primetime ass whupping?" was the narrative all week. The Patriots were driving and Brady made a poor pass that got INTed on a screen.
Brady saw ghosts and got sacked 5 times that game, mostly from coverage sacks.
NYJ won 28-21 and the score made the game seem closer than it was. ask @NYC Rebel I bet that was one of his favourite games.

Man dem convenienly forget about Brady's struggles. And if not for Brother Malcolm Butler, we'd be saying Brady had 2 bad INTs in the SB against the Seahawks that were costly too. He threw an INT near the goal line in that game, as did Russ', but obviously Russ' is magnified.

Exactly. Folks have a short memory when it comes to Brady’s resume.

im really tired of young players getting discarded for their achievements because of a legend’s accomplishments.

So many of you fukkboys simply dont want to enjoy sports and look to find reasons to not be excited by a young up and coming athlete’s play. The “cool thing to do” with the modern day sports fan is to act like youve been there before and not live in the moment as an excited sports fan witnessing great play.

some of yall are just trash.

Tom’s got multiple wins in the playoffs including SBs with performances similar to this one. Especially early in his career, we just don’t remember because someone else stepped up and they ended up winning
No he doesn’t. People need to stop saying this stuff because the Patriots weren’t a hot team and no one cared about them in the early 2000s. One of the biggest and most annoying myths was that Brady was this pedestrian QB carried by his defense early on in his career. What are these games similar to this one where Brady completely melted down in the second half at 25 to cost his team a game? The first SB run he got hurt against Pittsburgh and Bledsoe stepped in. Against the Rams it was a ball control game until the final drive. There were 0 games like this his second SB run. 0 games like this his third run. His first truly bad playoff game was against the Broncos. He wasn’t heavily favored in that game. The following year they were overpowered by the Chargers and he threw a game ending INT but then Troy Brown made dude fumble and they recovered. They weren’t supposed to win that game. They also weren’t supposed to beat the Colts, but it sure as hell wasn’t his fault that the defense gave up 32 point in the second half. Second only to the 29 points it gave up against the Panthers in the SB. The next year they lost to the Giants, who exactly stepped up to bail him out? In 09 they got destroyed by the Ravens. In 2010 they lost to the Jets? In 2011 he got bailed out after throwing that stupid INT to the Ravens when they had the lead as he attempted a bomb. And the defense didn’t bail him out. Ol boy missed the FG.

That’s the entire first decade of his career. So no.

Brady has had his bad games, I thought the premise was a meltdown while winning. Otherwise, every WB has had bad games. Brady has played 46 playoff games. And has been bad in like 6 of them and probably 3 times while favored. It’s too early to compare anyone to that body of work:
