Over a decade and a half later, how do we feel about Master P's "Ghetto D" album?

I do agree that UGK's album crushed Ghetto D, but lets be honest, Ghetto D put the country on notice about the south. People outside the South knew nothing about the South outside Outkast and P. I dont remember too many songs or hell even music videos outside of Make Em Say Ugh/Elevators/Jazzy Belle that was getting nationwide radio and music video play.

Fiend - There's One In Every Family
TRU - Tru 2 Da Game

How dare you disrespect UGK & B.G from Cash money like that....

How fukking Dare you!!!!!!!!!!

Ridin' Dirty > Ghetto D

im one of BG's biggest fans on here but no.

ugk stayed regional for a reason. and ridin dirty aint even their best album. its just one of those "cool things to prop up in retrospect". the joint before it was better.

No and No. And you're clearly NOT from the south to make this statement.
This album was the culmination of P's commercial success. But by no means is it the GOAT southern album.

i used to live in the south actually. but that has nothing to do with me giving my opinion on what i think the goat south album is. lol.

the culmination? ghetto d was the big breakthrough breh.
