Why is this thread so long? What about this is so fascinating? Is it because she is an attractive 30+ woman who is complaining about finding a man? Is it because she most likely dates white men? Or is it because of the comments she made about heterosexual bm? Or all of the above. I do have a friend who lives in LA. She’s very light skinned though, and she’s has a boyfriend, he’s Latino. She’s 32. I’m wondering if this girl is seeking a WM that is of the same caliber of the WM her white friends are marrying. If so, that could be the challenge—in a place like LA, I’d bet that the most desirable high paid white guys are mostly settling down with the tan slender big boob white women. If she’s not a top model like a Jasmine Tookes, it’s going to be a little harder to have that access to that type of wm, I’d imagine.
I have heard that LA isn’t the best place for serious relationships if your a darker or ambiguous looking bw. But I imagine it’s even harder when it comes to trying to get the type of wm she wants (that her friends are marrying) to settle down with her. She’d probably be better off living in the east coast/mid Atlantic region to get the type of WM she’s looking for.
But I can understand why she doesn’t want to move just for that-especially if she likes it out there. I’m sure she’ll eventually find some white guy to settle down with. She technically still has the rest of her thirties to have a kid.
