The thing is you have to find out where these chicks hang out at. Shorties ain't at the bus or train stop out here, this is a car culture town. Bad ones are definitely out here but you gotta find where they hang out at. The mall, church, the gym, school, bars, restaurants, the beach, at Staples, etc. Most of these are not hollerin' back in DM's unless your profile is poppin'. Maybe this chick needs to show herself at a few places. Is she way out in the valley and rarely comes "over the hill"? Is her dough right and she's at a hot restaurant or two? Is she out and clings to her girlfriends which makes dudes unable to pull her away to holler.. come on man. ya'll know these things. I know its the easy route to shyt on the black males in LA but there's thousands of factors as to why certain chicks are not getting what they want.

Most people who moved there (well at least in Hollywood/LA) are there to pursue their dreams (like this wench in the OP).

I only lived there for a while for work (San Fran). And you’re right, outside of the weather and beaches, I wasn’t sold on Cali. The amount of homelessness, traffic and just how expensive it was put me off.

I know i lived in the most expensive part of Cali so my perception is skewered but even for a Breh who has done well for him myself, especially during that time, I really couldn’t stand Cali. Especially the racism from Mexicans and Asians.

Unless you’re out there to become some kind of model or entertainer, there’s no reason any black person should move there. Hispanics run that state. And I didn’t even get to the c00nery.

Almost every breh out there I met (not all) seemed to be on some Kumbaya BS all the time and will cape for every other group and would accept symbolic bread crumbs from other groups. Full on liberal c00ns. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like many of them are that type there.

My industry is big in Cali but I really have no desire to move outside the South at this point of my life.

Yeah, I should state that the worst culprits were the transplants. Most of the black folk who are Cali natives were cool. But almost every black transplant I met were on that “all lives matter” tip. The type to have pronouns in their bio.

Again, I did live in SanFran so that’s not surprising but it wasn’t much different in LA. If you’re “average” you may as well be dead if you’re trying to date.
