why would any black person want to move out there then? I never got the fascination with the WC beyond weather myself. My lil sis moved to seattle to live in a literal box for like 1200 a month and shyt blew me. Like IDC how popping a state is Im not about to be struggling to pay rent to be there. Most people who moved there (well at least in Hollywood/LA) are there to pursue their dreams (like this wench in the OP).
I only lived there for a while for work (San Fran). And you’re right, outside of the weather and beaches, I wasn’t sold on Cali. The amount of homelessness, traffic and just how expensive it was put me off.
I know i lived in the most expensive part of Cali so my perception is skewered but even for a Breh who has done well for him myself, especially during that time, I really couldn’t stand Cali. Especially the racism from Mexicans and Asians.
Unless you’re out there to become some kind of model or entertainer, there’s no reason any black person should move there. Hispanics run that state. And I didn’t even get to the c00nery.
