No he will end his career to huge Thank You Sting chants just like when fans thought it was over when he put AJ over. He did everything his way and didn't have to sell out, become a NwO lite fakkit, or marry a McMahon. His legacy is well intact. He became a multi millionaire without having to kiss Vince McMahon's ass(Jim Ross, Cripple H, Hickenbottom, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, etc).

So are you on record as denying that Sting's popularity didnt peak during a time when wasnt talking or working a lick? Are you also going to deny that Sting's popularity didnt immediately fade once he won the belt from Hogan and started talking and wrestling again?:youngsabo:

Are you going to deny that Stings previously being a fan favorite didnt cause that? Glacier didn't talk either and tell me how that turned out for his character.

Sting had previous history as a fan fav. If he was just a nobody that tried out that crow gimmick it would've failed miserably.

The bottom line on Sting is this --- he hit by far his career peak when he was an emo mute hanging in the rafters week in and week out, and not wrestling. Thats how his career tombstone will read.

No it won't.

I have a hard time believing any of you saying this type of stuff actually watched wrestling before Nitro/Attitude era.

If you were a kid and you liked Hogan, and if you watched NWA/WCW, then you LIKED Sting as well. He was the WCW version of Hogan.

He was the top charismatic good guy goign against the Flairs, the Vaders, other top heels.

@R=G don't be throwing shade at the Kliq breh. Depressed screamo Stink would have been a upper level midcarder having fueds with Shamrock and Blackman. The Kliq would have done whats best for the business and protected the audience from 8 minute segments of Stink Bordem holding a trained bird in silence. Good thing NWO carried him dubyaceedubya :whoo:.

There would of been no trained birds or anything like that if the Kliq didn't ride off of Steve Austin's coattails after they brought in record lows and damn near got the WWF put out of business. Everything they are is attributed to the hard work of others. Never forget that. Vince McMahon trys to rewrite history all the time..as we all see each and every year with his forgettable nature of Macho Man Randy Savage's iconic worth to how all of his got hot in the first place during the 80s.

All of that fan fiction shyt you live on and wonder up about a multi millionaire performer like Sting amongst no name jobbers is cute for board chatter but merely a dream. Sting was a World Champion LONG before the Undertaker ever was given a gimmick and long before Michaels was ever allowed out of tag team wrestling.

Sting tarnished his legacy by not going to the wwe. U want to be considered one of the best, u go to the best company.

Yeah right. How did that work out for Booker T and DDP? OR even a top name like Goldberg? LOL. No...politics run the WWF. How naive does one have to be in 2012 to think different? You really think Cena is on top because he's the best in the industry and is some huge star? No..he's on top because he kept getting wins and wasn't allowed to look bad when he entered the main event scene in 2005 for like 3 years.

I'm not saying dude is wack I'm just saying I've never cared for him outside the NWO stuff and he is :flabbynsick: now. No trolling here. :yeshrug:

It's all comedy breh. But the dude saying he'd be feuding with Blackman if he was in the E would be seeing crazy red bars right now.

Here we go with the WWE buried WCW wrestlers bs. Just because Booker T was a 5 time WCW champion doesn't mean he has to be champion in WWE. Goldberg? they had him beat the Rock and Triple H for the title, the fans rejected him and booed his ass what was the WWE suppose to do? DDP is the only one that they really buried but he was :flabbynsick: ever since he cut his hair. Look what the WWE did for Benoit, Guerrero, Mysterio, Jericho ect.

Same thing if a great euro basketball player never went to the NBA he wouldn't be thought of being as great because he never worked with the best.

Goldberg was getting mixed reaction at first (getting booked against Rock for one, then letting Jericho clown him), but when they treated him like Goldberg he was the most over face in the company. He got treated like a god at the Elimination Chamber and those HHH/Goldberg PPVs drew well for the time.

On topic, Sting can't be John Cena with face paint when the fans rarely, if ever, said "fukk sting" and he went up against much cooler heels than Edge or Sheamus, or Randy Orton.
