Period :heh:

Now I admit the crow gimmick is classic but Borden is buns outside of that. Facts are facts...

He borrowed his name from a soft rock singer, scust. I recall him wearing hotel luggage carrier jackets with sparkles all over them and howling at the crowd before they finally gave him a real gimmick. His promo skills didn't become decent until he stopped talking. I could go on but I might feel the urge to watch a marathon of big show matches for the technical prowess. :HickenGOAT3:

Early 90s Sting vs Horseman was great. nWo feud sting was great, this latest Sting/Hogan team up in TNA has been entertaining.

The rest I can take it or leave it, and 90% of the time I leave it.

Sting carried WCW from 1989-1999. Everyone else were just inbetween types. Goldberg's mystique fell off after one year in the business. Hogan needed Sting to spin off..Hall and Nash needed Hogan to make the NwO run. Flair was getting cheered and losing momentum until Ole and the 4 Horsemen turned on Sting. And he did all of that without forfeiting titles, going into hiding, running from WM finishes, needing McMahon children to help with his career..none of that kind of wack shyt. Just stayed consistent.

:whoa: Hold on now breh, lets not say things we can't take back. We goin act like Luger, Steamboat, Savage, Rude, The Steiners, Muta, Flair and the horsemen, Vader etc etc didn't make WCW what it was before NWO came in? :mjpls: Hall and Nash had the crowd going CRAZY before Terrence was revealed to be the 3rd man. I don't know what you were watching. :mjpls:

Vader mattered and looked like a monster because Sting put him over clean
He put over Rick Rude for quite some time too...had classics with them all including Muta, Flair, and Vader. It's how it was.

Nonsense

NWA/WCW was all about sting late 80s early 90s. U obviously weren't around then cuz that surfer gimmick was poppin then, it made him the next most popular with kids after Hogan, so u clearly just don't get it lookin back

:whoa::beli:

Vader was over, Borden didn't do him any special favors. Rude was one of the top heels and a bigger star at the time. Not to mention a better worker.

You can be as over as you want in the industry but if you don't get put over and win titles at the top? You're just alot of hype and a waste of time. Vader went over Sting in relatively clean fashion at the Great American Bash. Unheard of at the time. He is how he got hot and accepted as a monster. Well before Hogan punked him in 1995 and they fukked him over in the WWF. Rick Rude was not a bigger star than Sting in 1992 and 1993. That's crazy as fukk:laugh: He was a over heel but definitely not bigger than Sting in WCW. That's absurd.

I've seen all of that over and over again. A one night deal. You think Rude was more on fire than Sting in the early 90s? Are you nuts?

Rick Rude is one of the gulliest cats in the history of the business. His Dangerous Alliance staple ran the industry for awhile but Sting was the franchise of WCW. In every way that mattered.

I will leave 2 classic matches with Sting involved.

This feud was incredible as was this :
Well. I can't find the video on youtube anymore, but the WrestleWar 92 War Games match is one of the GOATS.

Yes, Rude was more over. The steiner bros were more over than Stink too. Nobody disputes he was a star, he was basically early 90's Cena for dubyaceedubya. He got the face cheers and came in outfits that looked like the top of a poptart. I'm talking about the quality.

Did Stink get the face crowd pop..yes.....but did Muta out perform and carry Borden to a classic? YES.
