Anybody fight the Captain yet?

I don't want to decrease my World Level to fight him...but I can't seem to find a mechanic or consistent strat to beat him.

Anybody fight the Captain yet?

I don't want to decrease my World Level to fight him...but I can't seem to find a mechanic or consistent strat to beat him.

I fought 2 so far. If you're doing the solar mission, draw him out and keep it 1v1 and bring him to the door that you just walked through and keep hoping over that open space and use the room as cover.

If it's the side mission captain, just keep rolling clockwise, counter-clockwise and using all your powers. I went with the pyro and his powers are :lawd:

I cant play right now cuz xbox servers are down but im watching a few streams. Some of the bugs from the alpha build??? I played are still there. The store one is extremely annoying. The gameplay looks the same.

If it does that we cap how much progress you can make because we don't want to pump out regular content like Destiny does then :camby:.

I wouldn't mind playing Division 2 if I actually had somebody to play with.

this feels like the ME3 multiplayer sauce I've been fiending for :banderas:

game does a lot of the little stuff right. world levels, proper tanking, demands momentum based healing, gear amplifies ability and reinforces playstyle diversity, bosses have nice mechanics even early on, interrupt system means you gotta switch things up.... i like it a lot. solid bones here. and i was playing earthbender too so its probably more fast paced on other classes

but full price :patrice: i don't know yet. but im definitely gonna get it on pc


Why does the camera shake during cutscenes? That shyt needs to be left out of the final version :camby:
yeah that shyt gotta go

they need to communicate some of the cooldown timers a bit better too. powers? sure. but melee cooldown along with what exactly qualifies as close/long range would help a ton as well.

I’m going to be critical but only because I’ve played dozens upon dozens of third person shooters and this one isn’t wack, but in my current situation of games I got on deck plus backlogged this ain’t got a fighting chance for my time:yeshrug:

I’ll probably cop when it’s on sale, decent action but a lot of minor things here and there that are present on 360 games are absent or just not as good, like the sound of weapons is straight ass.


Dialogue is meh like who the fukk wrote this:mjlol:

story is typical sci shyt so that’s ok

gunplay and overall combat is satisfying but maybe it’s because I just got done finishing Vanquish last week, this reminds me of Army of Two and Inversion :francis:

loot seemed good:ehh:


Just a few tidbits I’m sure some of y’all will like it this is just my opinion :hubie:

im in the same boat

the dialogue/narrative comes off as :picard: at first but after a while you realize the game doesn't take itself too seriously but the nuance regarding that could be a bit better for sure

i also played defiance for years and its got the same vibe. gameplay, loot, world level, encounter design, information are all on point. these bones matter and they're good here. its just the icing really.... this game looks like shyt :mjlol: the design is just terrible. Reminds me of Remnant: FTA and I couldn't stomach that game's look either.

the demo will be around indefinitely so i'll play around with some of the other classes, try to break stuff, test coop, etc

i'll buy it but i MIGHT play it more than borderlands 3 and monster hunter? kinda where im at with it i think.
