Yeah, I think I'll have to commit to a full anomaly build for Pyro.

I've been using a middle tree hybrid build and it's not as effective as it used to be. I don't have many tools when I get swarmed and Heatwave takes too damn long to cast :martin:
If you're Pyro go top tree for getting through the story, spec into weapon damage. Stack as much Bonus Firepower as you can. The tier II mod I mentioned earlier, Perpetuum Mobile and Mitigation from Death are absolute must haves. Abuse volcanic rounds along with mods and skills that affect Burn and Ash status.

I didn't really figure most of this out until I was well into the story and watched some build guides - DPS is king and you can brute force your way through the vast majority of the content. I died hundreds of times but never had to drop my world level.

i honestly had no idea people were being terrorized by snipers until i checked out some streams :dead:
They take half your energy or more from one shot while you're engaged with a group of enemies and then you'll just get overran. Definitely an annoyance.

I've been playing expedition I'm at tier 10 now but I'm a glass cannon :mjlol:I can 4 shot a brood mother but they can 3 piece me :mjcry:

Actually that's a brood queen,the moms get clapped quick

LOL the community around this game full bytching mode over the patch.
I'm a little mad they increased the cooldown time on each class specific weapon round skills, much harder to keep 100% uptime now, but I understand because the right build made you unkillable and you could mow down enemies several levels above you.

But some of the complaints are legit though, decreasing the loot on monster hunts from 2 epics to 1 is kinda pointless if they are looking to patch all farming methods/glitches when you still get a legendary drop from completing all monster hunts. Or nerfing weapon based damage builds instead of buffing anomaly power skills to make anomaly builds viable. Nerfing weapon builds is not going to make people use more anomaly builds.

its no worse than a typical borderlands patch :mjlol: people acting like they gotta make whole new builds. i think folks just doing the most because why the fukk not....

im just now getting to the desert and i think its safe to say that devastator needs big help :francis: level 26/wt9 and every day is a struggle

I keep seeing a lot of people saying that Devastator needs a buff.

the class is largely gear dependent.

which may be what they consider balance to look like. its hard for me to really nail down exactly, but there's no way these other classes are stuck in limbo waiting all their gear to line up perfectly on largely one ability - Golem - which is a defensive ability that just happens to set up its weapon damage buffs that make the class stand on its own legs until you can build towards anomaly.

the next best abilities on the class are so unreliable you can't even bother with them.

endlass mass is actually dope. you spawn a cc orb that lets you drop vulnerability on everything it touches. decent cooldown too. problem with it is you can't just place it - its 'attached' to a specific enemy. and if that enemy is immune or resistant at the time? hold that L

boulderdash does insane damage but you can't control it and you take damage during it :dead:

can't wait to finish this off so i can run pyro and wait for buffs to hit

I'm crazy confused how a game this piff can be going under the radar for so many people like this. Maybe it's because I'm running co-op with my day 1 homie but mannnnn this shyt is fuego, I wish they had a division style dark zone cuz I swear to God none of you nikkas want it wit my technomancer
