Finally beat main story at Level 28 WT 7. Going back through now and doing all side quests.

If you do not have it, be on the look out for a Tier II mod called Perpetuum Mobile, paired with an LMG or a high capacity AR and I never have to reload so I'm running around with 95-100% uptime on my Volcanic Rounds.

L27, WT9 , think I’m near the end

the last few nodes top tree destructor are so clutch :whew: I’ve been speed running since I unlocked ‘em.

The mod system here is so well done in comparison to The Division’s (convoluted) and Destiny (shallow)

been solo for just about all of this. i probably would've been playing if monster hunter wasn't bringing game of the year energy

its dope. and the aggressive as fukk ai is a really, really nice change of pace compared to a lot of other ARPGs that basically just trot out enemies that wait to get styled on. mentioned it before, but its kinda rare that a looter actually forces you to buildcraft before endgame.

i don't think the game really opens up on that end til around level 20 ish/world tier 8 or so. at that point more layered setups start to stand out.

really enjoying it though.

how is that monster hunter was thinking about getting it?

monster hunter rise is fukkin sensational :yeshrug: the good parts of MHW highlighted while giving you more mobility/versatility and ways to get to the action quicker. its lays things on kinda thick at the beginning of the game but once its clicking? A1 game.

that's why i'm just now getting back around to play outriders now.

Im at the Gate Plaza getting my ass handed to me...shyt aint even funny no more :mjcry:
gotta upgrade

if those arena type levels are fukking you up, its usually a gear/build check. i really gotta sit down and just upgrade my shyt sometimes

some levels though - where you can't really turn around and backtrack or there's not even enough enemies to give you the exp for a level up - you just gotta hold the L and change the world level or hit the lobby to spawn back at a camp

Yeah, I think I'll have to commit to a full anomaly build for Pyro.

I've been using a middle tree hybrid build and it's not as effective as it used to be. I don't have many tools when I get swarmed and Heatwave takes too damn long to cast :martin:

my whole playthrough changed once i decided to invest in some more crowd control weapon mods and ability mods that syphoned off of each other. i had way too much stuff that depended on getting a kill to activate.... its cute in mobs but sometimes you just need shyt to stop, die quickly, or enable something else to hit harder.

i wasted some of those class perks too. armor in this game works.... weird

there's a perk in the dev tree that basically temporarily gives you the armor of every enemy you kill. sounds dope right? until you realize a few sprinkles of armor ain't really standing out in the grand scheme of things. in earlier levels i felt it, but later on it felt like a complete waste. especially when i got mods that give me more armor + power for just standing outside of cover for 5 seconds.
