just finished watching it. liked it a lot

i would've liked to see what they cut, even at two hours some backstory or time with his brothers or more political scenes could've made it better

the last battle scene was great as well

I'm enjoying it. Almost done. But you can tell he cut a lot. Some of the editing is bothersome. The relationships of characters aren't fully fleshed out. Since it's on Netflix. They should offer a director's cut, and the edited version. And let the viewer decide which version they want to watch.

Really good film. Wish they’d gone all the way up to Bannockburn but the film would have been about 7 hours long if they did that.


Makes me want to get back over to Rothesay castle again at some point, love medieval history and it’s probably the best castle in Scotland imo.

Should have released this film around the same time as the next independence referendum, remind everyone what utter pricks the English have always been.
