He has a Sway freestyle from a few years back that is fire.
oh ok. but are we talking actually off the head or "freestyle" writtens in the vein of black thought etc?

He's the I love college dude?> I forgot. I don't ever remember him being apart of a group like that. That's wild. Not really at the time. He was still mainly backpack rap. It's why he was in a group with lupe, Bob, Charles Hamilton, Blu, wale, Cole, diggy, cool kids etc
They fumbled with I love college so people thought he was frat rap. Supposedly he's still been making some actual heat on the low but who cares lol
Watch it breh. He's freestyling. I'd link it but I'm at work. I'll link it here when I get off. Los is the GOAT off the topfreestyle, or at least in that Hamilton discussion.oh ok. but are we talking actually off the head or "freestyle" writtens in the vein of black thought etc?

Them days hard me thinking I could be a rapper tooI had forgotten all about those dark days. Man am I glad all those guys are gone. That whole class is hot garbage
to this day i have never heard a better off the head performance than sonic man. and i'm including supernat, juice, eminem, hieroglyphics crew, whoever
i've never witnessed anything quite like that and he went on for a good five minute straight. i wish that mental illness didn't derail his career
He had a chance. Lot of shyt derailed him. The label pushed for a wild frat boy image and it didn't work. Ironically a few years later Drake, Cole, and Kendrick blew up by being regular dudes who rapped about life. They should have let Roth be himself.Always knew Asher Roth had no chance to blow.
Well, it had more to do with the fact he wasn’t a very good rapper as well as the whole corny image. He had a chance. Lot of shyt derailed him. They tried to do this with Mac Miller too. Unlike Roth who kinda gave up and disappeared, Mac found his own lane and excelled without letting a label control him.
