They were all BASURA (excluding EMO Wale and Curren$y).

This was around the time (that as a true rap enthusiast)...it was just disappointment, after disappointment, after disappointment...:snoop:

Like..."WTF. These our future rap prospects?" :mjtf:

I came of age in an era, where the "NEXT UP" on a cover meant...DMX, Pun, Cam, etc. Then a TI, FAB, or Cassidy in later generations...:manny:

The Asher Roths, B.O.B.s, and the likes were the foundation and forefathers, for all this trash & infiltration, we've got goin on today. CH is gabbo too...:pacspit:

As for the 09 rappers, we got two classic projects, Below The Heavens and Covert Coup.

I can’t name a BoB song, but I know I heard one. Heard the name Asher Roth years ago but doubt I heard anything from him. I actually liked Charles Hamilton back in the day but legit forgot he existed. Edit, meant I liked Anthony Hamilton and forgot he existed. Heard of Charles but can’t think of anything from him.

never been a wale fan. Still not
