Seattle has a great secondary, but they had no pass rush. So as good as they were, Ryan had a lot of time back there.
Also the big physical style of play that Seattle plays didn't match up with the speed of your wideouts.
Like I said SF has stopped better passing attacks before. And we cover the deep pass extremely well. Plus we got the LB's who can cover a TE.
If anything the defense that should be coming into question hear is Atlanta's, not SF's.
i do not disagree one bit....not at all...to me SF has the best overall D in the league....however i think that their secondary is the weak spot in the D. If the falcon O-Line can hold up for just 3 seconds, i think the falcons will be ok. And you are right, the 9er front 7 is better than the falcons, but the falcons have the better secondary, the same amount of picks as the seahawks for the season. And also the falcons just have better playmakers than the 9ers on offense...No one has been able to stop tony gonzalez from getting open all season...i don't see the 9ers being any different. Sherman couldnt stop roddy from getting open....i don't see the 9ers being different.... who's gonna contain julio??? Tarell Brown???
the crazy thing is, if the 9ers play a zone.....they will get eatin up all day....falcons would much rather face the zone.....but even if they go man to man.....not one DB can cover roddy or julio.........they key is for our o-line to contain aldon smith....
i'm not knocking the 9ers or anything....i just think that the matchup is in favor of the falcons
