Yeah and that's where we are at a disadvantage, but too many times have seen teams prove to us that home field advantage don't mean shyt when a team is on a mission.

There should be some emotion, I get the same way at times. You're a good fan, that's what we do, we get emotional at times.

I just don't think anyone is really rooting for yall to lose like that, I think the media just comes off a week when SF beats GB by 14, a GB team most these media people picked to go to the SB, and we look great.

And you guys come off a nail biting near disaster, added to your past history of playoff issues and they don't have much confidence in your team.

Add to the fact the 49ers play big passing offenses well, you put it together and the media picks the more impressive team from the week before, especially when they beat a SB MVP QB.

I can see after last week how the 9ers are favourite but Falcons are no scrubs in that dome!

This week both championship games to me are toss ups almost.

basically this game comes down to whether atl can run the ball on sf. you look at sf this year, the teams that gave them problems were the teams with physical o-lines that ran the ball straight at them, stl, min, and sea. you will not win by just passing, you must run to set up the pass.

the same goes for sf on offense, dont get cute early on, run it straight up the middle vs atl

I think the 49ers will win the game, but we gotta be ready for Matt Ryan, the Falcons O-Line is underrated and Matty Ice has proven in high pressure situations he can perform. They also have a good special teams unit as well. these next two games will be epic. I respect all teams involved.

That's exactly how I feel, Atlanta wont win just by airing it out. If we shut down their run game we have a great shot, unless our offense totally shyts the bed which I doubt it will.

I think we'll be able to stop the run consistently. Green Bay ran for 104 yards on us, but 28 of those were on Rodgers scrambling. I don't think Ryan is the scrambler Rodgers is, so hopefully we don't give up a lot of scramble yards.

The key is going to be getting pressure/hits on Ryan, even more so than sacks. If we can make him uncomfortable, he'll make mistakes. He's done it all year. That 5 int game, the Cards were all in his face all game. Same thing with the Raiders...they were able to put pressure on him and get hits on him.

Pressure with the front 4 is key. Aldon needs to show up big time. @LastEmperor2k2 - THIS is the game where I think we need our defense to play lights out.

Side note - Justin was credited with 8 tackles against Green Bay and played 53 of 58 defensive snaps (according to profootballtalk.com)
