one thing that people tend to gloss over is the fact that the older you are, the lesser scouts think of you.

alot of guys really do want to stay longer.

look at will barton. he wanted to stay for his senior year but he had to go. and even then, he still got drafted low.

barton was to small and lacked pedigree to slide over effectively and fully.
that is why he did not pan, out fully just yet.

the reason they don't should not stay longer is the nba pro game is just continuation of the college game and does not change in the low iq gen era.
so, the more they apply themselves in all facets stereotypically.
with a cognitive edge they could pan out,...
yet, they don't need to stay longer in college because those players played to long and showed mostly what they could do and are easier to figure out as pro's.
all because the longer you stay as a pedigree'd ncaa player.
the more it is thought of you really lacked the extraordinaire it factor.
to be in the nba, and lacked the next level thing.
to just at best be a healthy possible body.
whose upside was at best, that of.
the journey man and competent pro, with a typical pro career and numbers.

which could possibly be acquired without draft pedigree.
thus, possibly being a low ticket item priced player.
making more wiggle room and profit for owner and the fo.

The shyt is seems like it is even lower scoring than it was in the 80s & 90s.

There is NO star power. I cant even tell you who the "sure thing" players are in regards to future NBA stars, which makes me laugh when I see teams tank nowadays. The fukk you tankin' for?
:dahell: Aint no franchse players(except Benjamin Simmons). U do better drafting a foreigner to be honest.

I used to be a huge college hoops fan, but the shyt just aint good as it used to be.

Who would of thought Steph would of been that nikka?
Damien Lillard?
Draymond?
Kawhi?
Jimmy Butler?
Paul George???

The memories:mjcry:

(The 90's may have been the GOAT sports era with Jordan, Barry Sanders, Prime Time, Griffey Jr, Agassi. You had characters in every league and people weren't letting morals interfere with the entertainment.)
And SI For Kids was there on the front lines reporting on all that shyt for me and my little homies :to:. Not to mention the rise of Tiger / Williams sisters :whew:

That UConn-Butler final from a few years ago killed college basketball for me. It was so awful. Congrats to UConn and all, but I don't think I've ever seen a worse championship game (in any sport). Brick after brick after brick :scusthov:

I've seen some really good game so far:manny:, cutting down from 35 to 30 has definitely helped with the scoring.....

March madness is still dope as fukk to watch, but most people obviously don't care to watch the regular season when a lot of teams play really terrible.

Since college basketball and football is such big business the NBA and NFL aren't going to get away with just cutting them out completely, so they should let these kids get drafted right out of high school, and then still make them attend at least one year of college but while getting paid from the team that drafted them.

They could sign the big contract, make it so the huge payday doesn't kick in til they get to the league, but give them a decent signing bonus and a healthy salary with a nice insurance policy in case they get injured.

So many more kids would stay in college, making the college game so much better and with the player development it would eventually make the professional game significantly better as well. And the professional teams could easily afford to do this, and could even get a % of college jersey sales and shyt for the kids they draft.

baby, that was the old me
True, but throughout NBA history, those who dominate the HoF, are those guys with multiple years of college at least. You can't name 10 HS drafted players who dominated the game throughout their career. Your premise is right in that a Senior can bust in the league and a freshman can come in a dominate. But why not maximize your level of play at one level before moving on?
There's only been maybe 40 players who got drafted from high school and they are all mostly top talent

Kobe
Tracy McGrady
Kevin Garnett
Dwighthoward
Moses Malone
Lebron James
Tyson chandler
Amare stoudmarire

College basketball has fell off. :patrice:
I'd usually know the big recruits coming out but I don't know any until recently when I watched that Kentucky/Duke basketball game. The game is just dry and boring. I will give the benefit of doubt because conference play hasn't started but it's . The tournament last year was so :trash: I didn't watch any of it and just payed attention to my bracket :beli:. I honesty don't even know what the NCAA could do to change anything it's just boring now. :snoop:
IMO I think this one and done stuff is stupid. Either stay 2 plus years or come out in HS :manny:
